Crowne Plaza Xishuangbanna Parkview By IHG

Nice Hotel environment

Service level and attitude is here was not on Crown Plaza standard and not matching the price level at all. Every day there were small issues, forgotten to fill-up toilet paper, lack of pillows they offer etc. I could keep going. Even for an umbrella they asked 100rmb deposit which ended in endless discussions to get this money back. Seems nobody was clear about the process. They used personal accounts to handle this. Breakfast was always super crowded and we had to wait for a seat every day. Also needed to hunt daily fork, knife, tissues cuz always something forgotten. Only rare dinner options at the hotel. Buffet they promote online as a deal was not offered.

- Spacious design of the hotel- Nice pool area - Great breakfast buffet (also some local options)- Friendly staff- Relaxing atmosphere

- Staff at the pool was lazy. They didn't provide towels so we had to get them ourselves! :(- Location is a bit far from downtown- Other guests jumped the queue during check-in

The views were lovely. Staff couldn’t speak English but were as helpful as possible.

Western food lacking. Lack of cushions on loungers at pool. No coffee in the room. Dirty tables at breakfast. Not what you would expect from an international 5*hotel. Not worth the price.

The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable, we had enough power points to charge the phones. We loved the outdoor pool, we spent there every afternoon, the water were warm so the kids stayed in the water until the evening. Breakfast was good, a big variety of Chinese and western food . The staff was very nice and helpful, and some of them spoke English.

At the mornings there weren’t hot water in the shower

Clean and kind staff even if almost no one speaks English

Poor choice and poor quality of western foodNo SPA .... very disappointing for this kind of hotel

Staff is very helpful. Connor helped me with the taxi when I couldn’t get one. He made sure I had everything I needed. The room is good, the pool as well. Location is great if you’re looking for a quiet environment.

There are animals in cages and two peacocks are tied to the bench in the reception hall. Not a nice thing to see :(It would be nice if there was a bar near the pool.

Location is fine.Rooms ok and clean

Very little staff can speak English, not on international level as far as catering for non-Chinese clients.Shocking to see live-animals kept in cages near swimming pool area (Austruches, Peacocks and goats). Surely Crown Plaza can not support this and has to show concerns for the animal's welfare, in cages under the heat etc...Swimming pool area is a health and safety hazards with the deck being completely run down, nails showing etc...Service in the bar, around the pool and garden is inexistent.

People were very friendly and extremely supportive!! Really enjoyed the hospitality of the poeple. The hotel itself had seen better times.

Standard is good. Nice hotel

Very far from the city. Expansive for this area
