Pros +

  • We stayed in two units for two nights and simply loved the place and the cottage-style layout. The location is convenient for the Qusar area and it is sublimely quiet (you drive down a dirt/gravel road to reach the place, took us about 4 minutes). The cottages are so cute and cozy and everything is very clean. The shower was good and we loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The included breakfast was fine (omelet, bread, cheese, etc). We met the owner the first morning, very nice guy with excellent English, he provided lots of helpful info about the area.
  • A quiet, calm, and peaceful place to relax and refresh. Located slightly off-road but very easy to locate with the direction signs leading to the property. The huts are all independent providing ideal privacy. Convenient if you have a personal vehicle. Strongly recommended as a base to visit Shadag, Khinaliq, Qechresh Forest, Quba, etc. An excellent restaurant on-site with local cuisine available in ample portions for a very reasonable price. Scrumptious and lavish local breakfast. Staff is very responsive and helpful.

Cons -

  • Even though it was early April the nights were chilly we had to ask for the heating system to be turned on both nights. The young guy that checked us in spoke virtually no English se we communicated through Google Translate. That is always fine but with him and his quiet personality it wasn't too smooth a process. Just a couple of minor quibbles though, would definitely stay here again.
