Farmhouse Resort & Spa

The grounds on which farmhouse is are truly beautiful, the pool is fantastic, and the best part is the walk you can do around the grounds, so refreshing coming from Phnom Penh where it's so hard to go for a walk in the green.

The place is overall too expensive for what is offered. We found the room and the food too overpriced. The breakfast buffet is okay, but could be much better with more options and better presentation.

It is remote but everything you need is there. The staff were wonderful, and we must have hit a quiet time as we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Very relaxing and a good stopping point on the way from Phnom Penh to Battambang. The hotel picked us up from our hotel in Phnom Penh which made the trip into the countryside easy. They also arranged our onward transport to Battambang. Nothing was too much trouble. The support this hotel and complex provides to the local community is to be commended. Excellent bathroom.

We stayed in bungalow with a high ceiling and the air conditioning struggled a bit, but this was not a major issue.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful resort, beautiful rooms, beautiful pools. The food was amazing, if you want to spoil yourself, a dinner at UN restaurant is absolutely amazing (not open everyday). The farm tour is great and the project itself is so great and admirable. I wish there were more places like this! Last but not least, staff is amazing and so so friendly. Really loved it here.

The pool is fantastic (small detail really but it's nice to have a deep end 3m at a resort hotel).The spa treatments were 5 star & and a the food was exceptional.

While the pool bar staff were very friendly and proficient in cocktail making, they could have approached us to see if we needed anything during long stints at the pool.

As always, a wonderful relaxing stay at Farmhouse Smiling Gecko. The food, the house, the pool, the staff... everything was perfect!

Overall experience was good except for one thing. While I stayed at this place on April 15th, during Khmer New Years Holidays, all the books are occupied and staff were very busy. Because of this, they could not prepare a la carte menu for dinner and there was no choice but to take expensive buffet menu. I am not happy with the way they made a decision like this without informing this to customers in advance. I hope they could properly manage this kind of issue next time. or maybe you should avoid staying at this place at a peak period.

So close to Phnom Penh only 2 hours drive ! It's soooo green ! Tree are everywhere. It's clean. It's quiet ...it's perfect to just relax. All food is locally grown and just super delicious

The bungalows were beautifully made, the pool was excellent and food was great. Being able to borrow bikes was great so we could explore after the tour.

Pillows were pretty big and the AC sounded like a jet engine throughout the night. The place needs sign posts as Google maps took us down some horrendous short cuts.

The breakfast is wonderful- lots of options, and great coffee! Loved being out in nature, surrounded by all of that green. Beautiful pool setting, with lots of lounge chairs and nice spots to have a drink and relax.

Food is brilliant. The pool is wonderful in setting and its usefulness. The weather and site are terrific. The open yoga building with cross-breeze is the best site for yoga I've attended.

The hot water did not work in our room for an evening and the following morning. We could never make the room safe work. the bed mattress is too hard.

What didn't we like? We liked all, from the tour around the farm, the excellent pool, fabulous room and delicious food!! The environment is so fresh and lovely to be away from the city and relax!!

All was very good. Maybe the food menu was a bit limited after 3 days, but that is also personal taste and of course nothing to complain about!
