ARISON Hotel

A well maintained, smaller hotel. We enjoyed the rooms, they were just like the pictures.

Friendly reception, accurate room service, quietness, location, and reasonable price.

Some rooms have a balcony nearly at hand's reach from another building.

It is a very good hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff are very polite and professional. I really enjoyed my time at the hotel.

Amazing staff, inside architecture and woodwork, spacious rooms and the view from huge private balcony if you book floor 14.

The location is the winner. The room is also a good size and I like the bath tub. Staff are both friendly and efficient.I've stayed here multiple times.

The bed was the best I've had in Cambodia, but that's not saying a lot. The balcony was nice and airy. The room was spacious. Liked that the toilet was separated with its own door. A close walk to many eating establishments, small groceries and massage places. They allowed us to check in two hours early.

The sewer gas leaking out of the open drain pipe, filling the room with foul odor. Nails sticking out of the floor boards. The lock on the balcony door was extremely difficult to lock/unlock. Some of the room was clean, but it was obvious that things such as the shower and certain fixtures hadn't been touched in months. The cable running to the TV wasn't connected properly and connecting and staying connected to apps on the smart TV was very difficult and rather infuriating at times. The WiFi was sketchy. The steps leading in/out of the hotel are extremely dangerous when wet. I slipped and fell after waiting for a worker to finish squeegee them. From my view, before falling, the stairs appeared dry, but once i was on the ground, it was clear they were still soaking wet. Many men came running to stare at me, yet no one offered any assistance with getting back up, or to contact a doctor etc even though it was clear I had injured more than my pride. The advertised restaurant was non-existent.

The location was great The staff were helpful and friendly The bath was a nice touch

The room could use a little TLC in places, it looked like it had once been very nice

I do like the staff and the location. It's a no nonsense hotel but clean and with spacious rooms.

Great room with powerful ac that's quiet when needed. Great view from the 11th floor.Big comfy bed.

Location is really good.it was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Shower was poorly designed. The water would run out and over into the toilet. The soaking tub just sitting in the room is weird. There was a light out the shower.

Room design and balcony low season price

Cleaning staff entering the room at 11h when I was in shower...a simple do not disturb / clean room door hanger would of avoided this... reception was always on point perfect

The TERRACE junior suite is really nice. Good room size and a huge size terrace.

The BALCONY junior suite had dirty windows, no hot water in the bathtub, a nail sticking out on the wooden part of the floor, the curtains having a gap of about 20cm and so much light coming into the room with the sunrise that you can't sleep anymore. I changed the balcony room to the terrace room and I slept really well there.

The staff were good people, who were accommodating and friendly. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds. They take good care of the guests without being intrusive.

Some of the guests staying there tend to keep their doors open, making themselves more public than is desirable.

No breakfast

Very spacious rooms with a bit of an odd layout... The bathroom is open, with a huge bathtub basically next to the bed (there's a curtain that can be drawn as a separator) and at least the actual toilet is closed with a door. The bed is big and comfortable and we had a balcony. Really great price for the room size and hotel pool. The location is very central, a bit far from the river but close to many of the monuments and main things to see, we did a walking tour that started just 2 blocks from the hotel.

The place is quite run down, it definitely doesn't look as great as in the pictures anymore. It also didn't feel very clean overall, I wouldn't say dirty but just dusty and with a slight moldy smell. The thing that bothered me the most was the AC, it was sooo weak, we kept it at 16 at all times and we were still kinda warm I had to sleep uncovered to be comfortable. But worse was the fact that during the day the AC would turn off by itself after some time, and it wouldn't turn back on until some 20-30 minutes would go by, I've never seen such a thing, maybe they do it to save electricity, but they should specify this because it would get HOT in there.
