Hotel Sor

The location, everything that is advertised was spot on. Great staff.I have been there five times and I will continue using them every time I come. When I come through the door they recognize me right away.And they always are willing to go the extra mile as far as setting up other transportation or just regular site seeing. The breakfasts are always great, as usual. The kitchen is always clean. The staff works very hard to make sure everybody has a great spot to sit and there is no waiting for anything, they greet you at the door with a smile and they say Goodbye to you when you walk out, you cannot ask for anything better..

That I could not stay longer.

Staff is wonderful and very helpful. They all speak English very well and will try and help you with whatever you want to know. The breakfast is very good with local khmer coffee and the room service is also good which supplies with bottled water every day.

Beds are rock hard, as they are all over the country so it’s not unique. The finish details of the room were rough with missing trim on the bathroom door, and a miss-cut sink so the faucet water didn’t go straight in to the sink and instead ran all over the counter. It is a high humidity country so there were a couple roaches I saw as well. This is to be expected to a degree. Location is very busy but the room was quiet.

Clean and comfortable, great atmosphere and superfrindly staff, from the porter to the management all total excellence.

Placement not optimal, but still not so bad.Would have to be nice to have small fridge in the room.I personally have backproblem and the bed was a bit to hard for my taste,

Our stay at Hotel Sor has been exceptionally pleasant. We were warmly welcomed by the very accommodating and helpful receptionists, who always greeted us with a smile. The room is comfortable and kept spotless by the hardworking housekeeping staff. Breakfast is excellent, with a variety of delicious options each morning. The security guards also go above and beyond, even assisting with arranging transportation for me. We initially planned to stay for only one week before moving to an apartment where we could cook, but because of the wonderful service and genuinely kind attitude of the staff, we decided to extend our stay to a full three weeks.We recommend this hotel to our friends and colleagues.

I always write honest review so here we go:Receptionists were very friendly, staff was helpful. Breakfast was really good, that's is the main reason why we booked this hotel.

Frankly I think it is a 2 star hotel, facilities are very old, the room was tiny, and we even found a bug on the bed, but since we were so tired, we simply removed it and moved on. The AC was too noisy. Wifi was terrible, not even slow.

I wanted to upgrade on arrival as our room had a faulty security lock and the replacement room was small with no window so i asked to upgrade and was told to pay the full price for another room ? Eventually, I had to show the internet price, and the manager had to be called at 8/9pm :(Day staff fabulous, night staff was with one man that did not really care.Sorry, bad service this time, I was with a business lady and the looks by the staff was not admirable or professional, we were disappointed. Great breakfast.

Spacious room, good shower, everything worked as it should. Staff was pleasant and always available to help. Good breakfast.

The bed was a little firm but not as hard as some Asian mattresses. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the river.

Loved the way the staff did our check in,also the rooms were really clean, enjoyed the breakfast it was amazing.

Pretty good breakfast buffet. Room was clean and spacious. Shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water.

The bed was a little bit hard. There was a light smell of sewage in the room but it would go away when we turned the AC on.

Great value, with friendly and competent staff.

The health club is very basic, and the one time I went I was told that the treadmills were down due to a technical issue.

The hotel was perfect in every aspect – location, staff, and cleanliness. If I ever go to Cambodia again, I will definitely stay at the same hotel, and I highly recommend it to everyone.”

I have.Stayed here four times, The convenience.Of the location is perfect , the price exceptional Great food and staff. Never a complaint. I will keep coming back.

The room is huge. The balcony is a nice addition to see the buz of the city from above. Very clean and the bed is super comfy. Wouldn't change anything (but the fridge). Very nice staff and they all speak good English.

The fridge door was bent, so it didn't close well. Of course it had a huge ice block inside and outside it was burning hot. Also it being places inside a closet, doesn't really help for the ventilation. We took it to the bathroom and let it melt. That helped a little, but really recommend not to use this fridge anymore, a huge fire hazard.

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds comfortable, friendly staff.

The “gym” was very tiny spot in the corridor. The air-con was too loud to leave it on at night.
