Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort

The location is extraordinary! The view from the Hill side villas is splendid. The apartment with seaside view ( apartment with 2 bedrooms) is very big, with 2 bathrooms with walk in shower and a large balcony with a magnificent view of Black sea. The apartment is well equipped with all that you need for a pleasant stay. The Hill Side Villas have 3 infinity pools (one was 30 metters away from our apartment), so you can relax near the place you stay. For restaurants, golf, beacheas and other activities you can take the car from the villas to downtown (reception area) is a 2 minutes drive, you can walk or you can take the shuttle provided by the resort. In the entire complex the parking is free in the designated areas. The breakfast is very good with a lot of options (including food prepapred in front of you by a chef). The Argata beach (there are 2 beaches in the resort Argata and Bendida) is accesible only with the shuttle provided by the resort or walking. You need reservation for sunbeds and umbrellas ( 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds are 40 BGN/day - arround 20 euros). The beach has a bar and a restaurant where you can eat somenthing and drink what you want. The entrance in water is smooth (for the people with small children), the water is clean and is very quiet (no noises, no music). It is a real relaxing place. People from outside the resort are not allowed to get to the restaurants and to the beaches. You can ask to put all the bills on the room ( from restuarants, bars, beach), so you can pay at check out for all.

Some things from the apartments need a refreshment (a paint, a deep clean, a repair). The menu of the restaurants from the resort can be improved (for lunch and dinner). You can't rent a golf car to travel inside the complex if you don't play golf. Only the golf players have acces to the electric golf car.

It is located right by the sea. The entire resort is really beautiful. There are many activities: go to the pool, go to spa, go for a walk.

The rooms are not brand new and on the first day there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

It seems that the company has a problem with the suppliers - apparently they buy the minibar goods at very high prices because a bottle of juice costs 6EUR and a bar of chocolate - 7EUR

Second time this year, unfortunately inconsistent services. First time all good, second time we felt in a different place. Room furniture old, no mosquito net, 2 beds put together in the master bedroom that get separated when sleeping. Very bad service, we made reservations for Argata and Bendita beaches via the reception with written confirmation. When we arrived at the beaches we discovered we had no reservations. Moreover, at Argata the guy from the beach reception was totally unhelpful. At least at Bendida they tried to find sunbeds for us. We had children with us and we had to wait long in the sun. Again on Argata beach we made a reservation for lunch when there, but 2 hours later we were told the reservation was made at a different hour. We were 3 adulds at the bar when we made the reservation for the time we wanted, we really felt frustrated. For such messy situations the staff should apologize amd offer something complementary as in a five-star hotel.

Location is nice, lots of vegetation and natural beauty. Very good restaurant at Argata Beach.

The expandable couch needs to be changed, it is impossible to sleep in it.

As soon as you entered you realize that you are in the right place for a relaxing holiday. The resort is wonderful designed being surrounded by gardens well maintained. The hotel has two beaches but each of them has it own charm. Argata beach is smaller than Bendida but it has calm waves, cristal clear water and a beautiful scenery. The breakfast was rich including a large variety of seasonal fruits. In one of the evenings we had dinner at the Geti s restaurant wich is located right above the shore.

The staff at the reception was a little confused, but it s not about bad intention, just poorly trained .

The entrance door or the fridge door that do not close properly were some unpleasant details.

Location it is very nice,facilities are nice ,golf course it is very nice.

The services are very bad.The rooms need refurbish.The service for golf course was very bad,They have very rare bar buggy on course every time when cll then they said that now they have free hours.Shutle bus for beach was rear with a lot a time of waiting.I was several time there but now fall down the services on every aspects.

Everything, nice and large rooms, very good breakfast and onsite restaurant, professional personnel.

A bit expensive

Everything closes at 9 PM, you can't, you can't drink, nothing! You go to sleep!You can't even watch TV because is not working! Same the Wifi.

It is well maintained overall.

It is quite expensive considering that one needs to pay the sunbeds and even the towels, the room is far from the beach, the food is expensive, breakfast is average. The beach was full of garbage. I don’t think it is a baby friendly location.

Hello,1. the cleanliness was not up to expectations2. In the 1500€/3 nights apartment I had a mouse in the room3. the sofa in the living room is under any criticism, terrible4. the face towels were not clean5. Air conditioning remote controls infected!For all of the above, I also have photos and a video of the mouse!The last photo is of the mouse in the bathroom! I also have complete videos, for those who want them!The attitude of the midwife to what happened was like that of a 2* manager! He offered us a massage (probably to calm down) and we refused! Then a meal at a restaurant for €100, given that we paid €1500 for what? For cabin conditions, not 5*****!I do not recommend to anyone!!!!!

The location of the hotel is very good.The golf course is very good.The hotel beach is good.

The offer on booking is incorrect because I booked the offer in which I was supposed to have a view of the sea and in fact I had a view of some roofs from other buildings that were in front of the balcony. When I asked at the reception to change my room answer that they no longer have rooms with a sea view and that I should have called the reception directly in advance to request this. It is an absolutely unacceptable attitude for a hotel that respects itself. So a simple conclusion: don't believe the offer on booking and if you want to get a certain thing that you are waiting for, you have to call the hotel directly because it seems that they treat these customers in a different way.The shuttle service for the beach is very badly organized, you can't order the transfer and they don't have a sufficient rhythm to sustain at the times when most people leave the beach or come to the beach, the wait is very long exceeding 30 minutes for a trip of 5-6 minutes.

Location is amazing, facilities are high quality.

All restaurants and private beaches are far from the complex, need to ride by car or ask for private transportation. Also the staff is poorly trained, they barely speak english. Not able to eat at restaurants unless you book a table in advance. Also valid for sun beds, need to be booked days before.

The fact that they did not clean the room properly and ai had to ask for my towels and robes to be change. After I inform them they fix it.
