    Pros +

    • 10 out of 10. The ambiance, rooms, beach, pool, food, restaurants, yoga, dance classes, mud bath, astrology night, sound therapy, and the prof and attentive staff). Shout out for hotel employee and the bartenders -
    • Beach location was lovely. Staff attention and activities were great for this wellness resort. Make reservations early for the speciality restaurants.
    • The grounds and people.

    Cons -

    • The rooms need to be updated. Be mindful walls are very thin and not all guests have wellness in mind (loud music in the middle of the night)
    • Food and drink quality and options were not good.
    • My husband and I are Dominicans but raised in the USA. We don't know much about Dominican Republic but some of the staff were treating us differently because we were Dominicans. I dont like that at all because we are paying customers just like anyone else

It was a paradise. I loved the view of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The amenities were great, the staff was very welcoming, and the food at "The Level" was very good.

Though clean, our room was well worn and could definitely stand updating. The bathroom in particular.

Location, wonderful lobby and spa. The gardens are lovely. Great pool and beach access. The crew was helpful and the activities were varied and fun.

The room seemed old, pillows were not comfortable and the bedroom could not be locked from the inside. I didn’t like the staff to pressure to get reviews during my stay.

I loved the landscape, the green, the palms, the layout is beautiful

I didn’t like the rooms, they need an upgrade… the AC super loud

Staff is the most incredible thing there!People with great energy.Maria and the entertainment guys who do fitness and dance, Zully y Verenise as concierges, Gloria from Yumay and Yafreici from Juice Bar. All the guys driving carts and the house keepers, all good energy. Thank you!

Location is great - right next to the beach. The pool was huge and nice. There are some animals going around which I really liked and also the turtles

I didn’t like the customer service, the rooms are old and dirty, there is no control about the beds around the pool so everyone puts a towel and later you can get one, the carts to take to the room from the lobby and back is horrible - you gotta wait forever getting on one, everything in the hotel is old, customer service is horrible

The place is wonderful, the people is very kind, many activities to do... nice pool, in general a nice place to stay and relax for a few days!

Just the matter with the sargazo in the beach and I would like to experience more local dance culture inside the hotel activities... just this should be improve it.

Eddie, our main contact, provided excellent service.•Friendly, professional, attentive, and reliable.•He supported us with reservations and requests quickly and thoughtfully.•The beach was pleasant and well maintained.•Booking The Level is strongly recommended.•It clearly adds comfort, value, and better service.•The wellness credit was a real benefit.•30-minute massages each day, or•Saving credits for a 50-minute massage every second day.•This is worth considering when choosing the length of your stay.•Yumay, the Dominican experience restaurant, offered very good food.•Tables seat six people.•Shared seating reflects the traditional concept.•Mosaico, the main buffet, surprisingly had the best overall flavors for us.•Breakfast buffet had a wide selection and good quality.•Drinks were enjoyable, especially the piña coladas.•Staff throughout the resort was friendly and welcoming.•Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.•Daily housekeeping was reliable.•Entertainment, wellness classes, and activities were available for those interested.•We booked a local excursion through the hotel.•A pleasant experience and good value for money.•During our stay, there was enough space for sunbeds.•Staff removed unattended towels after several hours.•An ATM is available on property.•USD is accepted around the resort.

•No assistance was offered for airport pickup at arrival despite asking.•We arranged it ourselves without issues.•The check-in process felt slightly inconsistent.•Initially described as VIP check-in.•We were then directed to a QR code for self check-in.•After waiting, a receptionist assisted us.•Some specialty restaurants did not fully match our personal taste.•As a well-traveled European couple, flavors felt more casual.•Restaurant service could occasionally take longer.•This reflects the relaxed local pace.•Turndown service was not consistent.•It was provided on 2 of our 6 nights.•Floating and swimming equipment was limited for the number of guests.•Bringing your own inflatable can be helpful.•For specific sunbed locations, getting up early is still necessary.•Guests were encouraged to leave reviews during the stay.•This felt a bit unnecessary but was not intrusive.•Meliá Rewards points were not applied due to booking through Booking.com.•This would have been helpful to know in advance.•The ATM only dispenses local currency.•Bringing some cash for tipping and small purchases is useful.

I liked the options of daily activities and the wellness aspect of the hotel. I also liked the decoration they had out for the holidays as well as the festive music they had playing it made it feel very cozy.

I didn't like the Long Walk between the villas and the lobby area, and the fact that these shuttles ran very infrequently leaving you to wait for around 30 minutes every time you wanted a shuttle. I also didn't like the fact that the staff tries to upsell you from the moment you check in, it just feels cheap line they're trying to get more money from you

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Junior Taveras from the customer service team truly set the standard for outstanding hospitality his service was beyond impressive and a perfect example of what excellent customer care should be.María and Diana entertained us throughout our entire stay, and all the activities were so much fun and truly engaging. The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, featuring a gorgeous pool area and a breathtaking beach that we enjoyed every single day. It truly felt like paradise. On our first night, we had dinner at the Quimera restaurant, where Dionis Rincón was an incredible server—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. In fact, every employee we encountered showed sincere interest in our comfort and made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect.Without a doubt, I would return and highly recommend this hotel.
