Cons -
- - Hotel is located high in mountains, 20mins from Atami Station and no restaurants or any other facilities nearby (ie. plan on a 20mins taxi ride down mountain if you don’t book dinner);- Taxis CAN’T find hotel on Google Maps because hotel name recently changed and GPS link hasn’t been updated- Self check-in was a NIGHTMARE. One tablet kept on timing out and restarting (black screen), and other tablet refused to photo-scan passport. After 15 mins of frustration, staff from out back came to help. There was no means or bell to call for staff for assistance. Self Check-in;- If you don’t book half-board, or immediately book food on check-in (deadline is 4pm after check-in at 3pm), restaurant 100% will REFUSE to serve you any food. Likewise breakfast must be pre-booked night before. There is no other dining option within 20mins drive. The one staff onsite offered paid ¥200 instant cup noodles to stave off hunger or option to call taxi for 20mins drive to station;- Likewise, shuttle bus to Atami Station MUST be pre-booked, and due to hotel location is guaranteed to by fully-booked in morning.- Issue is that the booking links for food and shuttle bus reservations given on your check-in receipt literally says “Link Removed”. There is no staffed service desk. You need to use non-existent booking links to book food and transport (ie. No food and no transport). Staff offered to call expensive taxi or recommend walk down mountain to catch a public bus. After near meltdown, they agreed to let me onto the last bus without a booking (because link didn’t work) even though that bus was half-empty with more than enough space (option was a ¥3000 taxi or walk down mountain with luggage to catch public bus). Nightmare.

It was excellent! My room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay!
Location is a bit inconvenient, but there are bus services available.
