    Cons -

    • Five star but 4 star quality staff and condition. Five star hotel charging for toothbrush/razor.
    • The breakfast buffet is fairly expensive at $50 Australian. The buffet dinner even more so at $100 Australian per person. This cost is right up there. We went outside the hotel for the evening meals so I cannot comment on the quality of the evening buffet.
    • Cost of the buffet. We had a very similar buffet in Seoul for half the cost .Costly restaurant.

The location was ideal in that the conference center was across the street. The staff was very helpful and accomodating.

The fact that there was a major conference going on across the street and all their restaurants were closed for renovations. Also, the size of the portions of the alcohol drinks in the bar were ridiculously meager.

The hotel is a resort, with a lot of kids. Bars & restaurants around the lake are good to visit at night.

Big pool, both indoors and indoors, but we had to pay £20 each to enter. The sauna was extra again. You need to check your reservation carefully to see if it's included. The hotel is tired, and if you want to go in to town its 20 mins in a taxi.

Very kind .Good location for Convention center,Clean and quiet.

Shower control knobs were difficult to know which one is for hot & cold water and the other one is for the shower from ceiling or regular handle.Very very difficult to turn the knobs when shower gel is on.So, suggest to put some pretty stickers on the knobs indicating the functions.

    Beautiful hotel

cost of the breakfast. I somehow only book a double king size bed for one person when i obviously intended to stay with my wife and the paid for breakfast was very expensive

Off town quieter location. Great lakeside walk.

In room Air conditioning wasn’t working, it seemed entire property was on central heating Staff needs to be trained in English if possible.

Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of food.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Price is higher than other hotels within the same area

The view from the room was spectacular. Overall the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff was very kind. Very nice coffee shop/bakery ADEN near the hotel. The hotel has near an amusement park and pool club. I think it is more suitable for families with kids.

    (1) Toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room, only for a special charge. You have to bring your own!(2) The hotel is far from the city center and sightseeing places. You need to take a bus/taxi to get there (on average ~20 min, if no traffic ~10 min). (3) Not many places to eat, so its better to go to travel to the city center, which has many cafes and restaurants.

Comfortable and clean room and bed, light in the room and in the whole hotel, breakfast was just ok, a very good concierge service to arrange for the service of a touristic guide and taxis to move around.

Access to outdoor swimming pool was too expensive for guests, ATM at the hotel not equipped to handle foreign travelers, poor command of English language by most of staff. It is a hotel oriented to cater for families, so there were too many children, and it was quite noisy specially the breakfast area.

    Great stay

Be sure you have the swimming-pool access for free in your reservation otherwise they will charge you a lot!!! More than 30$ per person, more than the price of the big Amusement Park nearby!!! And it is a swimming-pool for children to play. Only that!!! Don’t expect to relax there

    upgraded to a lovely suite

it was a weekend and breakfast was mayhem. also you have to pay to use the pool!

    10EvansPosted on: 6-17-2023

I liked how convenient the location was and the views from the lake view room. Also the size of the room was great. The breakfast in the morning was amazing with plenty of variety.

The bed was just a little bit too firm.

Nice view. Convenient location that’s close to all the touring areas.

I had salad for breakfast but they did not have ranch, Italian, or caesar dressing so I couldn’t eat my salad. Also, they discriminate when serving beverages. They told us the drinks were self-serving, yet the waitresses served the white foreigners. They ignored Asian-Americans like me and my family members.

    8Mohamad S.Posted on: 4-22-2023

Spacious, well equipped room, comfortable bed. Awesome views of the lake and amusement park. Hotel is near to some notable attractions and scenic walks. Breakfast spread was great. Staff were friendly and proactive, and tried their best to make my stay as comfortable as they could as the hotel had no air conditioning and facilities were closed for renovation. (as of mid March 2023)

Room interior was on the aged side. Most of the hotel facilities were under renovation so there was nothing to do onsite if you were planning to just stay on the property. Air conditioning was unavailable as well due to the renovations. (as of mid March 2023)

Most of all, we were very impressed with the concierge staff. One evening, I fell (not near the hotel) and came back bleeding. The staff were simply incredible, helping with cleaning and dressing my cuts and scrapes. They even remembered me and asked how I was and if I needed anything the next day. The location was also pleasant, right on a lake with a nice view from our room. We had a wonderful balcony, and the room was very nice.

As with several other luxury hotels in Gyeongju, it was located inconveniently far from town. Many of the recommended restaurants were a 20-minute cab ride away, and very few of the local restaurants were recommended (or recommendable). The cafe/bar in the hotel served terrible food at luxury hotel priced. The pizza came out cold, and the Caesar salad had bacon mixed in (not listed among the ingredients on the menu). Don't eat there! Plan on the 20-minute cab ride.

    Central location. Large room. Clean.

Asked for a quiet room and got one over the car park. They would not change. Food pricey.

    9naylaPosted on: 11-6-2022

very comfortable, nice terrace in the family room, friendly staff, decoration of the whole hotel is a bit cold and impor

    4Yu-JenPosted on: 10-25-2022

The location is quite convenient as it’s right next to a tourist area. A friendly front desk staff said she upgraded our room despite it was a weekend and the hotel seems packed.

The facilities and the room are quite old. The arm of the sofa is too hard, guests could get injured. The shower glass door of room 515 doesn’t close completely. The closet is tiny and right by the entryway. There are too many paper documents containing hotel information left on surfaces in the room. When connected to HDMI input source, the television glitches.
