Free shuttle to airport, well-appointed room, and free coffee voucher!
New and clean spacious room. Great location right next to subway station and 24-hour convenience store. Kind staff.
The hotel was relatively new and adequate for our stay. The shuttle service and the train station right behind the hotel greatly simplified transportation. The staff was very courteous but lacked good English skills. The internet and hotel were good.

Close to convenient stores.
The room I had (still very small) had a Mini Kitchen, Microwave, and small Washing Machine..that's cool! Also, Airport Shuttle Service is nice and worth the wait if you are not in a hurry. Train (subway) is only a few blocks away. And many places to eat.

It?s close to the airport, ~10 min by taxi or by their shuttle. It?s quiet. It has an observation tower on top of the hotel but I didn?t have a chance to go. I will definitely want to stay at this hotel again.
Proximate and closeness to airport.
Hotel is clean, modern and new. Meal at the restaurant was excellent. Free airport shuttle.

The staff was excellent and could understand and speak English clearly enough to explain everything and get me checked in with no problem. Very helpful to assist getting me in the right shuttle to catch my flight.
There were many little touches, such as packets of hand sanitizer and an alcohol wipe for cell phones. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was kind and helpful. Everything was very clean. The price for the stay was very reasoinable.
The room was lovely and comfortable. Advetised incorrectly, the reason we chose this teapot before our flight back to USA was the swimming pool. After checking in we were told that it required 40,000 won per person. We had 10 adults in our party, 5 rooms

Location, location, location. No other reason to go there.
I loved the convenient location of the hotel. The airport services were overall awesome. The carpet needed to be replaced as it made the hotel look drab. Staff were overall professional. Mynonlybissue is that we were not scheduled to check out of jote

Its location was excellent to the airport. even though I arrived late and their shuttle bus stopped operating the alternate shuttle brought you within a min walk to the hotel. It was less than two mins to check in

The location was great. I liked the room.
This hotel is about ten minutes from Incheon Airport. Around the hotel are numerous restaurants that are open until very late. A train that takes one to Seoul is only about 10 minutes away. The room has cable TV and a great shower!

Top Tips
- Book Incheon Airport transit hotels inside Terminal 1 or 2 if your layover is under 12 hours to skip immigration and save 30-60 minutes on re-clearing security. Transit hotels include basic amenities such as rest areas and showers, helpful for international transfers.
- Choose AREX Express for a 43-minute ride to Seoul Station, or the all-stop commuter for a 58-minute trip at about half the fare (approx. $3.50 USD (₩4,500) vs. $7 USD (₩9,000)). Both types offer luggage racks and English signage for easier access.
- Reserve hotel shuttles in advance for Incheon airport and Songdo-area properties, as schedules can be limited early or late. Booking when you reserve your room can help you avoid 20-60 minute waits or taxi costs, and most shuttles offer step-free boarding, but verify if you require elevator or ramp access.
- Pick Songdo serviced apartments for stays over 5 nights; units with washers and kitchens can yield 10-30% savings compared to daily hotel dining and laundry. Confirm kitchenware is included before booking, as some apartments provide only basic utensils.
- Expect a 10% service charge in hotel restaurant bills; check bill line items and do not add a tip if this charge is included. Tipping is not customary in South Korea.
- Confirm non-smoking room policies when booking; most city and airport hotels in South Korea strictly prohibit smoking and may assess a cleaning or penalty fee if violated. Enforcement includes balconies and common spaces.
- Select 'bill in Korean won (KRW)' at card terminals to avoid dynamic currency conversion markups, usually saving several percent on each payment. Many terminals have English-language options for easier navigation.
- Use official taxi stands at Incheon Airport to ensure you get a licensed taxi and access airport-designated fare options, preventing overcharges from unauthorized drivers. Accessible taxis for wheelchair users are available at dedicated stands; confirm at the airport desk if needed.
- Incheon tap water is potable; bring a reusable bottle or use hotel filtered water to cut bottled water purchases. Most hotel rooms provide at least two complimentary bottles per night, but ask at check-in as policies vary.
- For leisure trips, choose hotels in Wolmido, Chinatown, or Jung-gu for coastal access. For business travel, Songdo or Yeonsu offers proximity to Convensia and ICFEZ offices, reducing taxi transfers by 20-40 minutes and usually providing wider sidewalks and newer infrastructure.
- Book Incheon hotels 2-3 months in advance for peak seasons like Chuseok (late Sept/early Oct) and Lunar New Year (Jan/Feb) to lock in rates before typical 20-30% price increases. Some chains offer early-bird discounts or free breakfast during peak periods; check booking terms directly.
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds if working remotely; many business-oriented and newer hotels provide 50-100 Mbps download speeds, while older properties may deliver under 20 Mbps. Some business hotels offer Ethernet cables or portable routers upon request.
- South Korea has a service-inclusive pricing model. Tipping is not customary in hotels, restaurants, or taxis, and attempting to tip can cause confusion.
- Incheon Station is a KTX high-speed rail hub. Book tickets in advance, especially on weekends or holidays, for major city connections like Busan (approx. $44 USD (₩59,800), about 2.5 hours). Booking counters have English service, but lines can be 5-15 minutes at peak times.
- Ask your hotel concierge to help plan day trips to attractions such as Wolmido Island, as they can often arrange local tours with discounted rates or preferred access. Request English-language tour options, which are common for major sites.
- Stay within a 5-10 minute walk of an Incheon subway station, especially on Line 1 or 2, for efficient access to local sites and major connections. Confirm elevator or escalator access at your nearest station if you have mobility needs.
- Book hotels 6 or more months ahead for major events such as the Asian Games to avoid price surges of 50% or more. Some properties require non-refundable rates for event periods; always review cancellation policies.
- Choose hotels near Incheon Airport for early flights; they offer 15-20 minute transfers, versus a 45-60 minute commute from downtown Incheon. Airport hotels commonly feature 24-hour front desk service and can provide breakfast-to-go upon request for early departures.
- Prioritize neighborhoods near the subway, such as Bupyeong-gu or Namdong-gu, to access Incheon Subway Line 1, which connects directly to Incheon Airport and Seoul, often at rates 10-15% below central Incheon. T-money cards are accepted on all subway lines for visitor convenience.
- Take advantage of free hotel shuttle services to nearby subway stations, shopping centers, or Incheon Airport. Confirm shuttle schedules when booking, as frequency may change by season, especially after 8 pm.
- Check for hotels with GBCI or LEED eco-certifications if you want sustainable lodging; rates are comparable to non-certified properties. Some provide in-room recycling bins and green amenities; ask reception about participation details.
- Book refundable rates and have backup transportation options for summer stays, as Incheon's coastal location makes it prone to typhoons. Monitor local weather alerts via hotel staff or the Korea Meteorological Administration app.
- Decline dynamic currency conversion at ATMs; always select KRW to avoid 3-5% fees on foreign cards, saving 2-4% per transaction. Major ATMs such as Shinhan and KEB Hana show KRW as the primary choice.
- For family trips, prioritize Songdo, where neighborhoods feature 24/7 security patrols and are 15-20 minutes from family attractions, reducing evening outing risks by up to 30% compared to busier port areas. Most parks and play areas are stroller and wheelchair accessible.
- Check hotel Wi-Fi speeds for remote work, as Incheon hotels usually supply 50-100 Mbps. Quiet hours typically run from 10 PM to 8 AM, and 'do not disturb' signs are respected to minimize interruptions.
- Request step-free access in advance, as about 70% of Incheon hotels have elevators and ramps. Describe specific accessibility needs, such as visual alarms or bathtub configuration, during reservation to ensure suitability.
- Book airport hotels through Klook for 20-30% discounts versus direct booking at properties like Grand Hyatt or Paradise City. Cancellation policies may vary from direct bookings; review terms before payment.
- Prepay for stays at Paradise City resort to avoid a 10% VAT on walk-ins, potentially saving about $15 USD (₩30,000) per night. Non-resident guests may need to show a passport at check-in for VAT exemption.
- Avoid relying on Songdo's advertised 'free shuttles' if time-sensitive, as departures to Central Park or the airport often run hourly with 15-30 minute delays. A local taxi to the airport costs about $15 USD (₩15,000) for a 10-minute ride, and most front desks can call a reliable, card-accepting cab.
- Request an upper-floor room (8th floor or higher) in Bupyeong-area hotels to reduce street noise by around 70%, as nightlife noise peaks until 11 PM. Renovated hotels may have double-glazed windows; confirm floor assignment at check-in.
- Verify that any 'Incheon' hotel listing is truly in the city center or airport area, as some properties in Siheung or Geomdan use the Incheon tag but require more than 90 minutes of transit. Cross-check the hotel address on Naver or KakaoMap before booking.
- Use T-money cards for deposit-free vending machine purchases in mid-range hotels such as Glad Yeonsu, where a cash deposit of about $4-$8 USD (₩5,000-₩10,000) may be required for other amenity purchases. T-money cards can be bought and refilled at any subway station convenience store.
- Upgrade to a harbor-view room in Wolmido hotels for under $16 USD (₩20,000); off-season from November to March, properties such as Harbor Park Hotel offer view rooms for as little as $8-$12 USD (₩10,000-₩15,000) more than standard. Premium rooms may include barrier-free showers; request in the special requests field at booking.
- Book 3-6 months ahead for peak spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), when Incheon hotels rise by 20-30%. Rates are lowest in June, July, and January, except during holiday weeks.
- Avoid Incheon Airport hotels if city sightseeing is your goal, as they are 45-60 minutes from major spots like Songdo or Chinatown. Airport hotels concentrate on transit amenities such as luggage storage and 24/7 airport shuttles, rather than tourist access.
- Install KakaoMap for real-time traffic in Incheon to avoid delays. Both KakaoMap and Naver Map offer English-language settings for international travelers.
- Find hotels with traditional Korean onsen (hot spring) baths, such as Spa Land in Paradise Hotel, to experience a local cultural tradition. Most baths have gender-segregated areas and require full body washing before entry.
- Use translation apps such as Papago to communicate in smaller accommodations, as major hotels offer English-speaking staff, but support may be limited elsewhere. Many upscale hotels provide concierge language help by phone or WhatsApp after check-in.
- Purchase and use T-money cards for public transit in Incheon, with fares of about $0.90-$1.20 USD (₩1,200-₩1,700) per bus or subway trip. T-money also works on airport rail and most taxis, reducing the need for cash.
- When paying at hotels, always opt to pay in Korean won (KRW) to avoid dynamic currency conversion, as DCC usually adds several percent in fees. Confirm your selected currency before finalizing payment on the terminal.
- Confirm elevator and step-free access, as only about 32-38% of Incheon hotels rated 3-star or higher (excluding the airport complex) are fully accessible. Request a 장애인 이용 가능 객실 (disability-accessible room) and verify with a photo pre-arrival, especially if you need shower benches or visual alert features.
- Use airport Wi-Fi for stable remote work, as Incheon Airport Transit Hotel rooms provide 85-110 Mbps download and 45-60 Mbps upload. Guests with VPN needs should test connection speeds upon arrival; public cafés in Songdo average under 25 Mbps upload.
- Avoid hotels that charge a 'tourism tax' beyond the standard 10% service fee, as some local brands in Incheon add a 10-14% local tourism tax that exceeds Seoul's by 3-5 percentage points. Request a detailed receipt if any extra city or municipal taxes appear.
- Request bottled water during water-scarce months (Jan-Mar, May) if staying in a high-rise, as Incheon municipal water is safe but low-pressure events can reduce flow in winter and early spring. Bottled water can be purchased at any 24/7 convenience store near major hotels.
- Avoid downtown Incheon bookings in July-August during monsoon season, when rainfall peaks (about 450 mm/month) and basement flooding risk rises in older Jung-gu districts. Check the hotel's latest renovation year and flood zone status, or confirm if rooms are not below ground level.
- Verify air quality alerts before booking or requesting outdoor-access rooms; Incheon averages 62-78 'moderate' (PM2.5 50-100 µg/m³) days annually, rising 28% during spring dust storms (March-April). Travelers with sensitivities should use AirVisual or local apps to check real-time conditions before opening windows or booking a balcony room.
- Select hotels with on-site luggage storage if you arrive before check-in from the airport, since 68% of non-airport hotels in Incheon lack guaranteed storage. Larger hotels are more likely to accommodate oversized bags or medical equipment; request this in advance if required.
