    Pros +

    • The location of the Hotel is fantastic, it is close to the port to go to Atauro island and near the National Archive Museum, as well as a big mall where you can find nice products.
    • The staff at the reception were helpful. Location is few blocks away from the national museum and other attractions.
    • AC was good for a hot country like Timor Leste. The reception ladies speak very little english, but they were helpful in getting a scheduled taxi to the airport at check out.

    Cons -

    • The size of the room is very good but at times the AC was very noisy, did not work properly and did not cool down the room fast enough. You had to turn it on hours before going to sleep to feel comfortable.
    • It's not like on the photos, wall are old, dirty, light is blinking, overpriced. Photos are from the day1 of the hotel, probably a lot of years ago.
    • There wasn't any breakfast, and my room (as well as my friend's) were not cleaned the whole 4 days I stayed there. Water power isn't the best. Saw some roaches at the hotel, but not in the room (thankfully).

This is a good place to stay in Dili; very central and good value. Nice big spacious rooms!

Bathroom was poor, quite a bit of leakage and not properly designed; no shower curtain. Gets wet whenever one showers.

It is ok. Big room and clean enough

Soooooooo much noise the WHOLE night! Internet is bad, but that’s everywhere in Dili. Actually almost nowhere has WiFi.

    7VytautasPosted on: 5-17-2025

    Friendly & helpful staff.Very central location.Spacious room.

No daily housekeeping.Lack of some basic facilities like a microwave oven or plates.Broken window fixed with a tape.Lack of natural daylight.

great location for money, clean bedroom

bathroom could have been little cleaner but decent enough

    5HalukPosted on: 3-3-2025

    It’s close to center area.

Bathroom was very dark, couldn’t see my face in the mirror so I can shave, showers cold water was running.

    Clean, safe , central location

No breakfast room . Slow wifi

    8IliasPosted on: 2-5-2025

For Dili where the choices for cheap hotels are limited it's goof. Central location

Poor Internet working well only to the reception

For the low price the room has really good standard. Bed is nice and comfy and the rooms are clean.

The hot water in the shower didn’t work. Haven’t been a problem when we stayed here before, maybe just a small fix for this specific room.

    7RamonPosted on: 12-8-2024

    Good aircon and bed

No bed changing for the whole 8 days

    10PatrikPosted on: 10-24-2024

The staff is always nice and helpful. We wanted a room on the second floor and even though they first said they were sold out, somehow they sorted it for us.

    8FionaPosted on: 10-8-2024

Very convenient, enjoyable and slept well with hot showers and ice cold air con

We booked two rooms and needed a fridge in both but only one room had a very small fridge.

The location was great. A short walk to the beach, markets and eateries.

Now, I'll start off by saying, I should have read the fine print about how things are done in Timor. I did not know everything was cash only...my bad! I did not have enough cash to pay for the full 9 days I intended to stay, and maybe that was a good thing. I checked out after two days to another hotel who accommodated me by letting me do a bank transfer. Perhaps a lesson for both of us here. Having said that, there were problems with this property. I could not open the door to the room. Each time, I had to get the reception person to do it, who had to lift the handle, push and do a little dance to make it work. Secondly, I came back after one walk, and the bathroom was flooded. They obviously fixed it, but the toilet, which was the problem, was still leaking when I checked out. Thirdly, they were going to move me to another room on day 5...who does that? The wifi was dodgy, but that's par for the course in Dili. In the hotel complex, outside was like an industrial zone with trucks coming and going constantly (servicing adjoining properties)...the noise was constant, and finally, the power cut out no less than 12 times in the space of 2 hours. Okay, all first world problems!

Big room and bathroom, with good and essential AC. Staff is very helpful. Great localization, nearby coffee shop, restaurant, market and microlet (the local bus).

    WiFi is very unstable.

    9BjornPosted on: 9-15-2024

The hotel is quite big and a nice place to stay in Dili. The spacious room has everything you need, the people working there are friendly, AC worked well, they even had a fridge in the room. Cant complaint about this hotel. Its in the city and near main street for transport, easy to take a microlet nr 10 to Timor Plaza (25 cent), if you need a simcard. There are ATM’s near the hotel, and also restaurants, bakery, small shops

As with most hotels in Timor leste, the wifi worked very bad. Can not rely on it so you better get a simcard for that. The beds are very hard to sleep on, for those who are sensitive to that

    3johnPosted on: 9-7-2024

    Location was good.

It was filthy, and the electricity went out at least 2 times at the hotel.

    9JudyPosted on: 8-15-2024

Friendly staff, I asked for a fridge in the room and they gave me one within an hour.

Needed a good clean, but passable if you’re not overly concerned
