Surya Heritage Hotels

Very clean and beautifully fil ambience

The rooms are too dark and dingy. Brighter lights needed. Too much of smoke in the room from the burning of mosquito repellent . This is unhealthy and triggered breathing issues for asthma patient.

Very cozy & quiet, surrounded by beautiful greenery

Due to the heavy rains, the load shedding was not expected. The room i stayed at, could use more daylight. And the hot water in the shower, does not last a bath.

Good place only steps are too bad from reception place no lift

Great location , staff, property layout & rooms I wish the rooms had a view. The staff seemed well trained & professional.

Old HERITAGE HOTEL with very grand fixtures and furnitureVery big room with a huge comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom with an excellent walk in hot showerBreakfast in a formal dining room consisting of fresh fruit, omelettes and toast was perfectly adequate Pleasant shady bar area where we could get a beerQuite expensive compared to other places we stayedTuk tuk ride needed to the main station

Wish I stayed longer at your establishment, unable to enjoy your breakfast due to my early flight. Hope in the future breakfast can be available for the early birds.

The comfort of the room, however since it is downstairs we can hear the coming and going of others. Privacy was a bit of an issue but overall love the stay. Good staffs and very clean environment.

Beautiful old house, great food, nice & clean room. The team was incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay perfect.

Lovely old house that's been restored and maintained well.

The 130 year old property has been excellently restored with fine teak woodwork and quality fittings. A very comfortable place well recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr Manumathew the manager was most attentive as were his assistant manager Amil who made sure our meals were spot on. Linsa and the girls on reception were lovely and helped with organizing trips to Parassinikadavu temple and other drivers. Its location in central Kannur is good for getting to the beach etc.

Nothing really

During my recent trip, I had the privilege of staying at the Surya Heritage Hotel, Kannur, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. Here's a detailed review of my stay:Ambience & Atmosphere: From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambience. The interior decor has tastefully traditional touches, creating an atmosphere of elegance and coziness.Comfort & Amenities: The room I was allotted was spacious and well-furnished. Every tiny detail, from the softness of the bed linens to the temperature control and ambient lighting, was tailored to ensure maximum comfort. Staff & Service: What truly set this hotel apart was the impeccable service provided by the staff. Right from the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone I interacted with was professional, courteous, and genuinely eager to assist. Their attention to detail was evident, whether it was the seamless check-in process or the timely room service.Additional Perks: The location is prime, making it convenient for guests to explore nearby attractions and shopping districts. Conclusion: My stay at Surya Heritage was nothing short of delightful. It is a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and impeccable service. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality hotel experience. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The neatness and cleanliness, very friendly staff. Location in city centre

Because of the bar, downstairs rooms are noisy till 11pm... Lots of men around, not comfy for family or ladies alone.

location and staff service

that we had booked the biggest room available paying more - but was totally upset as it has NO windows ..

Great Staff..Super helpful and polite. They helped us book taxis and also suggested things to do.Some amazing food. Special mention to Manu and his wonderful team at the property.

There is music playing in the garden during dinner time. It was fairly loud even at 10:30pm so it is a bit disturbing for people staying at the property.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.Breakfast was good with a variety of options available.

The windows were covered by heavy wooden shutters so there was no natural light. A piece of furniture was in front of one window which stopped the window from opening so we couldn’t get to the shutters to open them.

very helpful staff, excellent food for dinner, interesting older style building that had been renovated. Staff gave us a 5 hour late check out on the house, this was most appreciated by us.

windows have shutters that keep it closed so makes it dark. However, we didn’t ask to open them as they were all closed!

location, architecture,

windows opens into construction

Great staff and service, beautiful hotel with all the facilities one might need. Both Indian and continental breakfast were good.

The staff was excellent, and also very supportive. Helped us with late check in and also accomodated late room service. The rooms are comfortable and clean and location easy to access.

The professionalism and courteousness of the staff was outstanding. Special thanks to Shilpa from the front desk who went out of the way to oblige our special requests. And Sonu from the restaurant took great efforts to suggest some really tasty dishes. Do not miss the Prawns fry & the Tharavadu Chicken curry!

All the way from the reception , everything went on very well. The Breakfast Sandwich was excellent. The real feel of Kerala tradition was felt in our overall experience. Very courteous staffs with an outstanding General manager, Mr. Ajith. We strongly recommend this to others as well...

everything was fine
