Located just 328 feet from the sea, this charming colonial hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. The historic Fort Point Lighthouse is a 2-minute walk away. Rooms at the Great House Inn open onto the large veranda. Each bright, air-conditioned room offers a seating area, cable TV and a mini fridge. Bathrooms include toiletries and a hairdryer. Great House Inn is a 10-minute walk from the center of Belize City. The hotel’s tour desk can arrange private excursions, including diving and snorkeling trips and visits to nearby Mayan ruins.

The staff was above our expectations, any thing we needed.

Very comfortable bed.

Cons -

They're redoing the pool and the restaurant, so we had go elsewhere for that. No ice machine. Construction nxt door at 7am, its very far from many attractions. It's only a good place to take a mistress, you won't get caught there.
You have to ask for Ice. Some of the staff are. Very snooty No elevators

The Great House is a quirky but special gem in Belize City. Located near the water, it is a short walk to water taxis and shopping. The rooms are all different and uniquely furnished. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs if you stay here

Room air conditioner leaked but it cooled the room fine. Breakfast voucher for $7.50 Belize for next door bakery which was mostly pastries but coffee great. Certainly adequate but not all that healthy.
