The Hillside Casita was not so easily accessible. Was farther than I had imagined.
The place is secluded and quiet
I know, every we go the plumbing is always the concern. The smell of the sewer is always noticeable.
I love the location. Private beach front with a pool. There was a storm when we were there but that didn’t deter fun plans. We had a pool party in the rain instead! Rooms are comfortable and clean!
The drive, that’s all!
I booked this for my family for one night but since they enjoyed the peace and serenity of the place, they extended for one more night. They got a different room on their second night since the room they initially got is no longer available for extended stay.
It is ridiculous to me that my family was asked to pay an extra P3,000 if they are going to use the kitchenette, although it is already listed in the facilities included in the Hillside Casita (refer attached screenshot). Isn’t it supposed to be already included in the room fee (P12,161) since it’s listed in the inclusions? I just hope the resort won’t delete this inclusion after this complaint. Sorry, I got the receipt. The 300 pesos per kilo service charge for the resort‘s staff to cook your raw foods makes a little bit of more sense. This is one reason why tourism in the Philippines is getting more unpopular by the day. It’s obvious resorts such as this one just want to milk money out from their guests so if you are thinking to book this resort, proceed with a lot of caution. You actually can book more luxurious hotels without extra charges for the same price. I have been to over 20 countries but this is the first time I have encountered such scheme. So disappointed.
The staff were so helpful. The service provided was excellent. They were able to move us to a different room when the Calsita didn't work for us.The view was amazing .
There was construction going on top and adjacent to our rooms. Jacuzzi wasn't working .
The trees and landscape
An event took place the last night of our stay. We weren't able to sleep until past 2am because of the very loud music! We have asked numerous times for management to enforce the 10pm curfew so we could rest for our early morning travel back to the city. Apparently they could not do that. It was very disappointing! The loud shitty music with the loud shitty bass was turned off at 11:40pm but the singing still went on for another 2hrs! You could imagine our stress and frustration! They have assured us a week before our stay that everything will be under control, music will be off by 10pm, blah blah. Our wellbeing was not deemed important! Our needs (me and my friend) were last versus the 20+ people's inconsiderate actions! The bottomline was the most important for them!We expected better from this hotel!
The veiw over the ocean
The staff follow you around and the cats coming on to balcony while you eating
Staff wonderful. Location stunning. Room very comfortable. Amazing nights sleep. Quiet. Huge bathroom. Beach amazing. Pool great.
Food in restaurant was okay.
The resort and the beach are very nice. The place is secluded and quiet. Very good value for money.
The staff from checking in to checking out was top notch. I felt like I was in a 5 star resort. The food in the restaurant was some of the best food I've ever had in all of the Philippines. I highly recommend this private resort.
The water pressure wasn't optimal but a minor inconvenience.
The property is right on the beach and we booked a room right next to the pool and beach, so everything was easy access for us.
There were a leaks in the toilet that we didn’t know were it was coming from that put me off and there were a few loose boards on floor of the room needs a bit of repair.
Slightly dated, requiring a bit of maintenance in some places. But super friendly staff, pleasant place, clean ...
The cook (can't call it a chef) was abysmal. Had a "sirloin" that I could easily have dribbled on a basketball court and the salmon for my girlfriend was terribly overcooked. The food was a disaster and the only reason I'm not going back.
The beach was really nice. Convenient to access. The restaurant was great. Hanging out amd relaxing in the resort was good to. It was nice there was a play area for the kids at the restaurant so we could eat while they play
A bit difficult to fine but locals are so helpful
Excellent staff, Great breakfast, Nice pool.
Internet was spotty, but no way a deal breaker because this place is kinda remote. They had satellite TV which worked great.
Amazing service! The resort is at a wonderful, secluded location, but still easily accessible. The food in the local restaurant is also outstanding.
Breakfast had very limited choices. No breakfast meat at all.
The breakfast could have been better. Bacon or choice of Tocino or longganisa.
The Resort is beautiful and not crowded
Staff does not respond in a timely manner. For any questions response will be after at least 2 days. Restroom in 2 and 3 smells so bad. Hillside Casita does not have a nice view. Resort should also landscape Hillside Casita view and put some chairs like the front of the Cabanas. No resort map is available so I cant imagine the layout when i booked
Breakfast buffet is good.
Bed mattress was not comfortable, also worn out with black brown foam. Casita was far off at the end corner of the resort which is ideal for big families but can only accommodate 4 persons. Pool was very tiny. Casita area has an abandoned boat parked by the shore which blocks the view; better if management can move it somewhere else.
