We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

It felt so luxurious, especially for the price. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm and helpful. The staff assisted us with our luggage. The room itself was fantastic: the bathroom was beautiful and large, and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, like a grand buffet with plenty of options. The pool was another highlight, clean, warm, and perfect for a relaxing swim.The staff throughout our stay were consistently friendly and attentive and the outstanding service. Everyone was smiling and super helpful.

No any staff available from night till morning 8.00. Wash room and also beds are very old. Inside the room smell was bad.

Availability/actability of the facilities like billiard board etc. They were there but not functional.

Got bombarded with requests of payments ahead of arrival and eventually got told "why do you want to pay in advance?". Check in was not pleasant, with them another "pay now" and then we'll show you the room, after staff frantically looked for our booking for 20 minutes. Hotel very noisy at night and then again when people get up at 5 for safari. It must have been an amazing hotel which has not been kept up to date for possibly decades.We asked for a double room and we got a twin room with the beds brought closer to each other. Not quite the same thing!

Good sized rooms with a nice outlook to the wetlands which has lots of birdlife to explore.

The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. We had two rooms and both had issues including zero internet, power outlets falling out of the walls with exposed wires, power constantly tripping out in one room and a dripping air conditioner in another.They sent a 'maintenance guy' (who also happened to make up the room), but he didn't fix any of the issues. Also found some old dirty socks in the wardrobe. The pool was very murky and had a lot of algae on the walls which was not inviting.When it rained, there were water leaks on the entry stairs and foyer.With some basic maintenance, this could be a great mid-range hotel, but sadly at this point it doesn't make the grade.

Breakfast is decent not the five star level,also the lobby and the pool is quite nice with a nice garden area looking at the lake, staff is awesome is only positive side.

This was rated 5 star hotel at booking.com, but it is a 3 star hotel by many means, bathroom s need big upgrade s, rooms need some upgrades as some of the rooms are smelly, definitely not 5 star hotel.

We were genuinely impressed with our experience. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, providing a remarkable sense of luxury that made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a warm and professional manner.

We did encounter a minor issue during the check-in process. The primary focus seemed to be on processing the payment, and unfortunately, the full amount was charged without verifying the advance payment we had already made. Although this was later rectified, and the payment was reversed, it did cause some inconvenience. Kindly suggest that the hotel avoid requesting full payment immediately upon arrival and ensure that any advance payments are confirmed beforehand.

Location was great as its like 10 minute ride to kataragama kiri vehera and kovil.View of the lake was serene and calming. Very helpful staff.
