Virginia Family Resort

What a superb stay at Virginia family resort. We were only here for 3 nights & 4 days but we will most definitely be back. The hotel staff have gone absolutely above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Every staff member in this resort are always smiling and could not do enough for you.Me and my partner were celebrating our engagement, We were greeted on arrival with huge smiles, and was advised we have been upgraded to the pool room. This was completely unexpected but my gosh the room is stunning. The following morning they arranged a private breakfast for us which exceeded every single expectation. The food in this resort is absolutely amazing, especially for buffet. We went on a night out with the animation team, there was some miscommunication with the transfer home but again the reception staff reassured us and solved the issue instantly. The pool bar staff have made our holiday. They have a good laugh and again are always smiling ensuring we have a great day.The hotel is modern the pool area, food area, and rooms are always clean. The reception and bar staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing and are a credit to the company. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay so so special. 5 stars from us!

The food choices were good and it was lovely to have snacks available outside of the set meal times. Staff were very friendly and worked extremely hard! The rooms were cleaned daily to an exceptional standard. Facilities in the room were very good.

Was a little boisterous and overwhelming when we arrived as the entertainment and the bar is right next to reception. People were chatting and drinking in the lobby and it was pretty much like that every night! People were friendly though.

This resort is fantastic.. beautiful place, ppl are making you feel like a family member. Rooms are clean, food is amazing, drinks are great, beach is 3-4 minutes by walk, sea is crystal clear, sand beach is amazing.Everything was great - we loved it..

THERE WAS BLOOD ON MY BED SHEETS! the hotel was very rude to me, they told me I could get compensation but then when arriving back in the UK they’re now saying I can’t, they berg rude and didn’t even say sorry about this, I found ants in my room too!!!

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Communication could have better regarding the booking of the on site restaurants and the activities however this did not impact our stay negatively.

The staff were wonderful, they were so attentive to our daughter. Our bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. We never struggled to find sun loungers round the pools.The food was as you'd expect, samey but fine.

Our room (Junior suite with pool) was nice however the pool did not have sun after 10am everyday. This was a negative to us as we booked this room so when our daughter was napping we would still have a pool to relax by, however in the shade and with the wind it was not as we'd hoped!We booked on to go to the terrace for the Greek night, the food was not as expected. It was very bland and the service could have been better, we left without dessert as they were taking so long.

Hotel is aimed at families and delivered well. Pools were clean and sun beds were easy to get each day.

Some staff members had very rude customer service. Seemed to favour their own people over Irish/English guests which was a little awkward at times.

It was really clean, the stuff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel was very close to the beach.

That they don’t have their own beach, so we had to additionally pay for the beach club.

Everything was quite nice. The resort is truly intended for families, but it isn't just for kids. It's an ideal location for a multigeneration getaway.

The resort is an all-invlusive resort with unlimited food and drinks. The food was OK but not stellar. However it was very good for what it cost us. The staff were awesome and very attentive. We really enjoyed the endless supply of delicious fresh fruits and homemade breads.

extremely hard to get taxi most days, overall happy with my stay as the bus was only a 6 min walk away.

Everything was great

- Clean sea- All pools- Personnel is pretty good- Pizza- Taxi from reception

- Long road to the sea NOT AS ON PICTURES (you must understand that you will go to the sea around 250 meters down to the sea and after 250 meters up)- Breakfast, elevenses and lunch are always the same (in general the food is not tasty or a lot of salt or very sweet, also food quality a really low-level)- A lot of people make queues to the restaurants (sometimes you will wait up to 10 minutes for the dinner table)- Cutlery is not always clean- In our room were a lot of ants (this is a really big minus because they are going to the beds)

good location, close enough to both faliraki and rhodos town, so itll take you about 10-15mins both ways by car.staff is extraordinarily friendly, every single one of them, all kids friendly too, the children loved them!room was basic but clean and very spacious. housekeeping was very good, they changed towels twice a day which is nice after the pool and also once again after dinner so you have freah towels again!food was also okay for the price and considering its an all inclusive hotel!

the beach was not as close as expected, stillclose enough, its just a little walk but its a rather steep hill down with cars coming back and forth.

The location of the hotel, next to a beautiful beach. The beach is public, you need to pay for beds. Prices vary 40/25/15€ for 2 beds.Close to old town.My kids liked the pool, the slide.

This is not a 4-star hotel. It's more of a 3-star.It is old, some rooms are renovated, but the family room was a disappointment. No wonder there is only one picture of that room, master bed only. Kids' beds were stone hard, and they hated it. Bathroom has not been renovated since the hotel was built.2 separate days we had no running water in the room. Hotel said it was the area issue, but I heard other guests experienced the same on other days, sounds more the hotel's facilities fail.Balcony door did not get locked, 2 times informed reception, was fixed the day before our departure.We had to ask to clean our room/balcony again when we arrived, as there was still previous guests dirt on the balcony.Food ok, big amounts of low quality. I have been to other 4 star hotels in Rhodes before, this was a disappointment. One day, white wine smelled of car oil.French fries for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Even Greek dinner had french fries with meat.

The staff at the hotel are really nice and the facilities were good. I loved the food, always found something that i liked and never went hungry, big thumbs up for the severall Hotel handmade yogourts. Kids were happy eating kids food: french fries and pizza :-) Beach is lovelly with a very nice bar with DJs performing all day. Rhodes old town is 10 km away and a lovelly place to visit, no wonder is an UNESCO world heriage town...

Gym is very small but has the basics and you can keep fit nonethelessNever used the Pool, got the feeling people drink all day but never go to the WC...

Personel is very friendly and helpful. Territory is good and well organized. Strong A-class (4+*) hotel. Greek restaurant dishes were nice and tasty. Nice and warm sea.

Some minor things like poor lunch. Poor sea shelf which is full of construction waste, becomes better at the far end of the beach.

Location not much around the hotel.

Location perfect. Breakfast and food was good, lunch and dinner choices a little limited but the food served on the first floor terrace was excellent. The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more accommodating.

This is not a pleasurable all inclusive experience. Orange juice made from actual oranges is chargeable, all drinks after 11pm are chargeable and they will only serve 2 drinks per person at any one time. Drinks are served in plastic cups until evening, even when you are not near the pool. The pictures used for marketing are not an accurate reflection of the property, which in reality is not very attractive, lots of grey concrete. The appearance and warmth could be dramatically improved with very little expense e.g candles, flowers, more plants etc. The roof terrace and other outside spaces which overlook the car park could be much prettier and the view of the car park perhaps hidden with some trellis, climbing plants and fairy lights for the evening.

Kind friendly people, good centre location, close to nice beach, super pools with slide, lots of evening programs for kids &adults
