    Pros +

    • The grounds outside are beautiful - well maintained and very nice by the pool and around outdoor areas leading up to the beach. The staff was attentive and helpful.
    • very comfortable hotel exellent food and serviceeverything for kids and elderly gests
    • Excellent hotel and staffVery close to beach but entrance to sea not safety and problematic

    Cons -

    • We had red ants on one of the beds in our room. They appeared after the cleaning staff tidied up the room one day. We informed staff and the ants still came back. They came to spray vinegar which of course left a less than ideal smell but all they could do since we had our baby with us and the ants returned again. They offered for us to switch rooms but it was late in the evening and not ideal when we were leaving the next morning. Hygiene wise we expected much more from a “luxury” hotel. Also, it’s a very quiet hotel - no music by the pool. There were lines every time we went for breakfast and it took a while to get seated every time - not something we have experienced before. Also on days it rains or rained the night before but the day is fine some of the facilities aren’t available - no day time food by the pool and no Greek restaurant (our reservation was cancelled).
    • sea entrance very uncomfortable and dangerous for falls and traumain such hotel should be much safety!!
    • Service could be better, the check in was very slow, at the end we didn't get the room that we booked and had to change. In the restaurant we had to wait for a long time to get a baby chair, water and coffee. The food in the main restaurant is good but it could be slightly better with more options and more varieties.

We held our wedding at Dama Dama, and it was a Dream come true, exceeding all our expectations, everything was flawless, Our guest stayed for 5 to 3 days, and the food was excellent, with five restaurant options, a good selection of alcohol, the cocktails were great for an All-inclusive resort. The main pool is breathtaking, marvellous spot, it is cold, but every outside pool we've been in Greece has been cold. The staff was outstanding, everyone worked hard to accommodate a large group of 46 people speaking 3 different languages, the transfer arrangements were made effortlessly. The attention to detail in every aspect, from decorations to the service, truly made the day enchanting. We highly recommend Dama Dama for anyone wanting to create lasting memories in breathtaking environment.Christina A. Hatziagorou, the Room Division Manager, was exceptionally professional and caring , and she and her team were fantastic. We just want to express our gratitude for making our day wonderful , we would do it all over again. From Mr Maciel Barros Kosek and Mr Artur Kosek Barros, Many thanks and much love to Dama Dama and Grecotel Group.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, the pools are nice. They even prepared baby food for us that our baby loved. The a la carte restaurants are very good.

    The outdoors area is great!

The Lobby is not so welcoming, needs fresh new decor, the rooms too.

The location of Grecotel Dama Dama is great, at the beach, close to the airport and Rhodes old town, both around 20 minutes. The rooms needs new furniture, it was just exceptable. Sun beds were all taken by 7:00 am. No checking if actual used just blocked by unused towels, for families a great place for just couple okay.Staff was great.

    Old furniture in the room,

Big pool, close to the beach, all inclusive buffet was great for families, our room (a 2-bedroom bungalow) was perfect for a family with kids too young for a separate room of their own.

The hotel closed for the season the day after we left. We knew that some of the facilities and food options etc would wind down in the last couple of days, but I was a bit surprised that in the last day or so a lot of the basic cleaning and tidying stopped happening and staff seemed to go "off duty".

Great location, close to the beach and Rhodes town. All-inclusive was just what we needed, no stress of food planning with little kids. Beautiful beach front location. The staff was exceptionally good, attentive to detail, and always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful 100m pool, however, so cold we hadly gone in. Room was dated and could do with better beds.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for families. Our trip there was memorable. From the moment we arrive, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool was one of the highlights, spent a lot of time there with my kids. The beach bar was also a great addition as you are able to grab a drink or something to eat with amazing views. Over all, we are super glad we chose this hotel and plan to return.

Only thing I was disappointed about was not being able to reserve a table at any of the restaurants located in the hotel. We were only able to book on one of the evening we were there. It seems that they were always full even though I did message the hotel ahead of time before we arrived to see if we could get a table on any of the other nights. But besides that, no complaints : )

Staff & common hotel facilities were wonderful.

Room was not too big; bathroom facilities were modest, shower facilities were modest if not plain dangerous.

We arrived on a Thursday morning and were greeted with a welcome drink at the lobby bar. Our luggage was taken aside for us and everything concerning restaurants, bars and times was explained. We changed clothes in the lobby bathroom and went to the beach. The pool loungers/chairs were already taken but at the beach you‘ll always find a couple of spare beach chairs. We received a call when our room was ready and we were taken to said room (815) Our luggage arrived shortly after. The room was located in the annex building on the third floor. It was very clean, the bed was amazingly soft. The side sea view was breathtaking. We dined at all a la carte restaurants:The Rose, Fine Dining: great service, the lobster menu was delicious and well thought out.The Italian Restaurant (our absolut favorite!!) : the service was incredible. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive and kind. One of our servers was Diogenis’, he was outstandingly great at his job! The best service we’ve had at this hotel. He went above and beyond for us. Our drinks were always fully filled thanks to Diogenis. Thank you so much. We loved the Italian restaurant. The Asiana was really good, nothing too special. The salmon was great! The Greek restaurant: food amazing, service was not the best. Our drinks were not refilled. We left after 25 minutes of waiting for our drinks (after dessert of course). The Dama Dama Restaurant and the Beach Bar Buffet always had a great selection. I loved the breakfast, my husband loved the lunch selection. AMAZING Desserts at the Dama Dama. The Beach Bar has real good drinks, crepes and Ice cream. We usually waited for 5 minutes or less. We can recommend the Kylie Minogue 0% Sparkling Rosé. Our absolute favorite drinks, since we don’t drink much alcohol. Sometimes the waiter/baarkeeper say the don’t have a bottle open/ready/chilled but just insist and they usually have it ready for you in few minutes. It’s worth it!

The staff and food was goodThe pools were great and the pool buffet was really goodThe kids club is lovely

The hotel needs a complete renovationThere are areas that are really old and out of order. The lobby and the lobby bar are very oldThe central building and the elevators need a major renovationThere are really beautiful rooms (loft) and there are really old rooms with old beds

The hotel is great clean and the staff was very nice , i would have been happier if there were also some more activities for babies during the day but that's it

    8MayaPosted on: 8-30-2024

    The hotel is beautiful

The bed was terrible, really old and broken, we had a really hard time sleeping and our muscles are tight.

    7DanielPosted on: 8-24-2024

Very clean hotel. Wifi was really fast. Food was excellent. Drinks were ok.

Not enough beds by the pool, unless you were up and out by 7:30-8, no chance you would get a bed by the pool. My advice - pay €50 and order a cabana. Reception staff were useless. Couldn’t organise a taxi to town without chasing 2-3 times, couldn’t tell us if we could have late check out - we must have been told to come back at X time, about 4 times to be told to come back later…..

    2NoamPosted on: 8-20-2024

    The food was good.

Over all condition of facility was poor- air condition was not working in the lobby nor in the room. One of the rooms had ants in them. Overall staff was slow to service (we’ve asked 6 times to get water to the room..) was not worth it value for money wise. Additionally hotel was understaffed and not prepared for the amount of guests.

    4HazutPosted on: 8-17-2024

    The team was vary kind!

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel for several reasons:1. Upon our arrival, we informed the reception that we needed to stay for three nights. However, this information was not properly noted, and on the second day, we were asked to change rooms, which wasted half of our day.2. We used the hotel's laundry service, paying a significant amount, only to have our laundry returned to us still wet.3. The air conditioning in the main lobby was not functioning during our stay, making it uncomfortable.4. We booked a taxi to the airport through the reception three hours in advance. Despite this, the taxi arrived 45 minutes late, and the driver mentioned there was no reservation made by the reception.5. Overall, the experience was not worth the money we paid.
