    Pros +

    • Clean convenient, good location, nice housekeeping, host responded immediately
    • Monarco is located near the sea and within walking distance of the old town. It was ideal for my off-season stay, though the area is likely much busier in summer due to the many nearby bars and clubs. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The building and rooms appear newly renovated and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was particularly impressive. The room was spacious and well equipped with amenities such as closets, a refrigerator, and Wi-Fi, and the bed was very comfortable. There is no reception, but the staff were very accommodating over the phone. They helped me check in and offered to store my luggage in another property near the center after check out.
    • Amazing place. Beautiful golden bathroom area and excellent wi fi. Host was avilable to help and quickly helped with the check in and everything I needed during my stay. The location was also close to the new town, old town and beach

    Cons -

    • If having a nice view is important to you, Monarco doesn't really deliver. It didn't personally bother me, but the balcony had a view of an abandoned building next door. Additionally, the balcony lights were on the entire night. Again, not a big issue since the room had blackout curtains, but it felt like a waste of energy. Finally, the coffee capsules were a bit mediocre.
    • We had a bit of trouble getting in to the hotel when we arrived as the door was locked and I couldn't get through to anyone at the number that we had been given but it was sorted shortly afterwards. Perhaps leaving the main door unlocked at check in times or giving new guests a code so they can get in would be a good idea. The shower design is faulty as the glass partition is not long enough so water floods the entire bathroom when you shower.
    • The wifi signal was not very strong in the room

Great new hotel in the new town, within walking distance to many good restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

The communications with the property was really effective, I had a very late check in and they provided me with very detailed self-check in instructions and make sure I wouldn't have any issue. Very nice location, one minute walk to the sea. 10-15 mins walk to old town and most tourist attractions. brand nice toiletries, high quality bath robe and etc. I never met the staff in person except the cleaning lady, but I would like to thank you for giving me a nice stay in Rhodes.

The wifi signal was not very strong in the room

This is a gem. Modern, comfortable, clean and well placed for the beach and new town.

We felt very fancy in our bathrobes! Great shower, super comfortable bed, very clean, spacious.

Very nice clean and big room warm even without the ac on.Lovely bathroom and amazing location just 2 min walk from the center

The only thing was that the water in the bath wasn’t flowing on the pipe fast so it was creating a “small lake” with water overflowing outside sometimes.

Had a great stay at Monarco. The condo was awesome; WiFi worked great, there were cable channels, many coffees and water for me. The communication was very good and the check in and out was easy. Great location near the walled city and castle plus close to the town center were there are many shops and cafes. All in all I had a wonderful stay and if ever I come back to Rhodes I would love to stay here ?

This is a comfortable aparthotel, which has shops, laundry service and restaurants plus the waterfront within minutes of stepping outside. The room is cleaned every day

We arrived in January, and the only thing we would have liked was a warmer bed sheets.

Very handy for everything, amenities great, excellent hotel, would highly recommend

Long dark hair in bathroom, coffee machine not cleaned

The hotel room was exactly as the picture shows. Top-quality conventions and perfect location! Our place was very clean and good-looking, it’s a great option to stay even during the low-season.

Big rooms, new, clean, great location.

The way to communicate remotely with the owner of the apartment.

A great location with a short walk to the beach or into the old town. The room was was clean and modern and staff attentive.

A small thing, although there were satellite channels available. The internet wouldn’t let us connect to the Smart TV.

Excellent, new rooms. Small and cozy hotel. Good soundproofing. Helped with early check-in, for which special thanks. Vacationed together with my wife. We can safely recommend.

We liked everything. For this money - a great variant.

Good location, within walking distance of the city center and old town. Nice interior and comfortable beds. Large practical balcony.

Unfortunately several basic things were not up to standard and did not live up to expectations:Check-in: (unfriendly) housekeeping staff opened up for us upon arrival and gave us absolutely no information. Cleaning: towels were only changed after we specifically contacted the hotel, and cups/ glasses were never cleaned during the whole week we stayed - even though we asked both management and housekeeping for it several times.Rooms: there is no ventilation in the rooms (even in a newly renovated building!) so we had to keep windows and doors open all the time. This is not good in the night time when located directly across a loud bar. This also meant that the room had a very unpleasant enclosed smell, and even our clothes hanging in the closet were damp. Also keep in mind there is no elevator. Check-out: there is no luggage room in the hotel, and we were told to move our luggage to another hotel (10-15 mins away) if we needed to store our bags, which was highly inconvenient. In conclusion: As this hotel charges more than nearby similar butique hotels we expected it to be of a higher standard, but I would not recommend or stay here again. If it's just a room you are after, there are several better priced options in the area.

Really clean, modern and recently built. Lovely shower and comfy bed. 10 minute walk to Rhodes old town. Some of the restaurants nearby are better than those in the old town…

“Remote check in” means that the cleaner will be there to give you your key.

Location is very good. It’s close to many facilities - restaurants, city center, beach, super market, bus stop etc. it’s fully equipped - TV, AC, hairdryer, iron, hanger, coffee machine, kettle. There was a small terrace in front of the balcony. Staff was helpful. It was clean once we got there.

Internet connection wasn’t the best. So slow. Maybe it was because we were on basement floor, not sure. I know that the room is originally for 2 people, but as I had booked it for 3, I would like to see everything prepared once we got there. Because once we entered the room, I started to ask additional things - one more blanket, one more cup, one more slippers etc. Staff was nice, they helped and provided it, but still, it wasn’t one item missing but more, and I wouldn’t like to deal with it after a long flight. No tooth paste. They put just one shower gel, we asked more. The towels got some stains on them. I’m not sure if they were clean or not. Even they are washed, it’s not nice to see the stains. As there is no reception, check in was a bit chaotic. One responsible person at the hotel asked me to call the number, It wasn’t answering, then it turned out that the number was hers actually, then she made me talk to someone on the phone which told me the girl giving the phone will show me everything, other 2 ladies came to arrange it. There was another couple waiting for check in. In the evening I saw other 2 guys waiting outside, and they asked our help how to get in. I think they can work on it a little. It’s not the most convenient way for the check in. Again, staff is nice, helpful, but check-in is not the easiest

Although there was no great view I did enjoy sitting on the spacious balcony watching the interactions of the area. Everything you need is nearby and within walking distance. The area seemed safe no matter the time of day or night. A neighboring sushi restaurant, Homu, was my go-to and definitely recommend while staying.

Needed better Wi-Fi connection in order to complete work while travelling. The internet seemed to slow to a halt during the day, while at night speeds would increase assuming less guest using the service.
