    Pros +

    • Amazing seaview, clean, big bathroom and the room. The dinner had good variety of main dishes, fruits and salads. The breakfast had good pancakes and eggs.
    • Well maintained, excellent staff, cosy atmosphere
    • Staff were very welcoming, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good.

    Cons -

    • Breakfast: too few cheese/jam/yoghurt options, too smelly bacon, bread was not good, the juice was bad and the water from the tap (undrinkable).Old elevator is slow and always occupied. One time didn't open.Personnel at dinner (in a nearby hotel from the same chain) was not very helpful with finding a table and borderline rude.
    • Crowded breakfast area in rush hours
    • Quite an old building, rooms were quite small, doesn’t look as nice as the pictures portray it. The balcony is very small and so was the bathroom.

The view to the sea from the seventh floor was amazing.

With my partner we had FOOD POISIONING on the second morning at the restaurant of the hotel. The juice machines did not work and we were offered some water. Normally we did not drink tap water on our holiday but at breakfast we did not think that they would offer water if it had not been totally safe. A few hours after breakfast we got sick. When I turned to the reception they showed no empathy and were not surprised at all, most probably this was not a single case they met. Due to the severe symptoms we had our holiday was ruined.Additionally, the WATER PRESSURE in our room was sometimes very low, when we asked the reception first they said that there were some ongoing works, but the next day they said that there are issues on the high floors due to the lack of rain in the past weeks. It is in general uncomfortable that you cannot wash your hair after swimming in the sea but the fact the flushing the toilet might not be possible is highly unacceptable everywhere, especially in a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the SMELL in our room was very unpleasant, it smelled like waste water in the bathroom all the time. On our second day when we reported the water issues to the reception, they informed that the NEXT DAY we could check if we could have another room at a lower floor but at that time we got the food poisoning and were not able to leave our room. Regarding breakfast, we could just check it twice (after that we got sick), the variety of dishes was very limited, there was just one coffee machine which was not working after every second person and only espresso could be asked for. Interestingly, there is no elevator to the seventh floor, only until the sixth so if your room is on the seventh floor you have to take your luggage in your hands from the sixth floor up to the seventh. There was a big chocolate stain on one side of one of the beds from a previous traveller, it was surprising that no cleaning ladies observed it when they changed bedsheets.

The location is very good, you can walk to the old town in 15 minutes. You can swim at Ellis beach. The staff was very attentive, it was very sweet of them to give our son a toy. We got dinner included, Mitsis Petit Palace, which is in the building across from it, is also served, the buffet was quite sufficient and delicious. Thank you for the small treats left in the room.

The biggest misfortune I experienced was that there was a problem with the lampshade cable and I got an electric shock. This is a serious situation. Apart from that, there is no elevator between the 6th and 7th floors, since we were on the last floor, we had to take the stroller up and down one floor. The drain of the bathtub and the hair dryer were weak, it takes forever for the water to drain completely and for the hair to dry completely :)

This hotel was in a good location for access to everything

The hotel is very small and old and the pool is next to the road and beach which allows the wind to come in which is not relaxing

    8NoraPosted on: 9-10-2024

Very professional staff. The problem was solved immediately. Provided gifts for the child, for which we are very grateful and happy.

Top location, very good breakfast and dinner, the sea view spectacular. Marvelous staff.

Lift capacity insufficient. No hotel umbrellas on the beach, 15 EUR per day is quite a hefty additional expenses. Crowded restaurant for the breakfast, constant queeing. Dinner in the neighbouring hotel.

    7GrantPosted on: 8-29-2024

The location was amazing being right on the beach. Breakfast was great but the servery was crowded and not set out well. Beds were comfortable.

No beach chairs unlike the sister hotel next door. Fridge was barely cold - needed defrosting- and ac struggled. “Upgraded to Mitsis (not so ) Grand which was inclusive. Inclusion of all food and drinks was great but our 180 degree Seaview was demoted to views of a disused tennis court and derelict buildings. The ac and fridge were worse and the room was damaged and tired.

The hotel is amazing, the staff is really kind and helps with everything, the breakfast is really nice and the chef is really kind. Room service and cleaning everyday. The location is 10 minutes from all the main things in Rhodes. The pool in the hotel is a bit small but it’s really nice to sit outside. I recommend to take a room with a view to the beach, it’s worth the extra money.

Nothing. Amazing hotel and amazing service.

The location - beach was across the road. Shops & restaurants nearby.

The breakfast not tasty no variety , small pool, no ac in lifts, they had one ac at breakfast which hardly cooled the area, the breakfast area is very small. We asked for late check out from day one and kept being told we'd get an answer but never did and on the last day they called at 12:30 and told us we had to leave rooms immediately - our flight was at 23:50 & we had two infants 2 years old & 4 months, so this was very difficult for us and the children. The staff were not helpful about this at all.

Just five minute walk to well designed beaches of Elli. A beautiful sunset view from room. Breakfast was rich and quality food. Stuff was always ready for help.

There were quite cheaper options but how much you pay, how much you get :)

Wow what a great stay at Mitsi La Vita! This was my second time travelling to Rhodes and I’m so glad I booked this hotel. Great location to food, shops and Ellie beach which is a must go to! All staff were lovely, always smiling and asking if they could be of assistance in any way! To make our holiday even better, one of the staff members Vasiliki was a stand out and went above and beyond for us with her exceptional customer service on a daily basis. We were upgraded to Mitsi’s Grand Hotel which was amazing!! All the team at Mitsis La Vita were great! Will definitely return.

    Location. Staff was nice.

We stayed for one night. We had arranged to have a cot in the room for our baby (which the hotel had agreed to). There was an extra bed instead. We asked for the cot, and they told us that "there was a cot, but it was difficult to assemble and they would not do it at that time" since the receptionist was apparently alone in the hotel when we arrived (around 23). There was no safe space for the baby to sleep in the room (the bed was not a double bed, but twins put together), hence in essence one of us did not sleep to watch the baby. My partner, who had to drive the day after, tried the extra bed (next to the window) and could not sleep due to traffic noise. Breakfast was terrible.

The facility was very clean. The employees were friendly and solution-oriented. The location of the hotel was very nice.

Water pressure was going weak in the evening so water was not reaching the sixth floor. They offered to change my room but the rooms they offered me were smaller and had no balcony. My room was large and had a nice balcony. So instead of changing my room I accepted the water problem. It was nice that the facility tried to solve the problem. I did not experience the water problem in the following days. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast.

    7CansuPosted on: 8-6-2024

Beds are very comfortable, the staff were sincerely helpful and friendly. Good location.

Adequate but limited quality of breakfast options. No bedside electrical plugs, smaller pool than the hotel visuals.

    10CharizmaPosted on: 7-25-2024

The staff was very warm helpful and welcoming, beginning from the airport staff. They called a taxi for us and made sure we arrived at our hotel brand. The front dest staff were all courteous welcoming and pleasant. The location is beachfront and access to the beach is very convenient from the hotel. It is also centrally located in new town and surrounded by stores, restaurants and everything you need within walking distance. The facilities are clean and cleaning staff are everywhere to make sure everything is sanitized and clean.

    We liked everything!

    7RevitalPosted on: 7-21-2024

Service was good. The staff was nice and lovely. Very helpful

We ordered a room for 3 adults. The room was tiny and very hard to manage inside. The pool was very small and uninviting. The breakfast room was so small and could not hold the number of guests. Most days, it was so packed that it took a long time to just find a seat.

    7WilliamsPosted on: 7-17-2024

Clean well sized rooms. Decent breakfast options.

Delayed check-in due to the room not being ready by the required time.
