Receptionist are giving good advised about restaurants & local attractions such as old town. Prefer to have e source of brochures. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful always. The pool was clean, rooms were good, location is great for those who wish to explore Rhodes town and restaurants. Highly recommended for couples.

Location

The room was really noisy over looking a busy road and bar despite me asking for a quiet room. The decor is non existent and the lounge and breakfast area looks like a vacant hanger as a result. The bar had ran out of white wine by 9pm although the bar had about two customers...

Everything! Clean with modern interior, helpful staff and peaceful atmosphere at breakfast and pool areas.

The pool was a bit shallow, but ok for a dip and lounging!

This was the second time I stayed at the Oktober , ( before and after a week on Symi) Staff were really helpful in accommodating my request for a similar third floor room . Both times the room was ready early , which was a bonus . Location is great , good breakfast choice , rooms were clean and comfortable . Really pleasant and friendly staff . Good value for money .

The crew and staff of the hotel were amazingly kind and helpful, the bed was very much comfortable, the location of the hotel was amazing (in the very center of the city), we really had no complaints

The pool was shallow so it’s more for sitting near it and put your legs in then for swimming, but it was still a nice corner to seat near by. The breakfast was no gourmet but very sufficient for a good start of the morning.

Very good emplacement. Close to the city, the port, the beach clubs and the shops. You can do everything by foot no need for taxis or buses.Design is modern, pool and lobby are pleasant places to stay and chill.Breakfast is ok.

When we entered our room we first saw a lot of ants coming inside the room and the bathroom from the balcony. The lady at the reception gave us a spray to eliminate them but they kept on coming back in during all our stay.The curtains in the shower kept on falling everything like we showered. The bathroom walls were not clean.The rooms are not isolated enough and when it comes to the morning you can really hear everything. People talking, doors opening, or any little noise.

Staff were great…really helpful and friendly…nice vibe to the hotel…very clean…good location…and I think very very good value…great breakfast as well!!!

The room fittings felt a little dated but had everything needed for a comfortable stay .

The room was very well presented and clean with a modern bathroom and was a good size. Rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was good. The hotel is in a great location, only 10 minutes walk from the old town and marinas and within 5 minutes from the nearest beach. The pool was small and shallow but it's only really there to cool off in and it's perfectly good for that but can't fault it as most hotels in the area don't have pools at all

The noise from the karaoke bar opposite was off the scale. I was expecting some street noise but no music so loud it was still hurting my ears with the door shut!

Location is good

The rooms have no noise insulation. Every conversation, music chatter in the corridor resonates in the room. This makes it impossible to sleep. The Karaoke across the street blasts music until 12:00 twice a week.The facilities are visibly ageing. There was a water dripping from the ventilation shafts during our stay. Air conditioner was emitting a very foul odour.The beds and pillows were not comfortable and made my neck sore. Towels were visibly aged and partly torn at places. No place to dry your clothes if you don’t have a balcony.Breakfast was pretty basic and was only partially ready at the opening time.

Functional hotel good for a short stay if wanting to visit the old town which is only 10 minutes walk away.

The pool, although very clean, had a long shallow end which made swimming lengths impossible.

Couldn’t use the safe(didn’t really bother speaking up tho) and sink was a bit broken so water leaked from the side when used (was not a big deal for me)

Nice place close to the city center

The pool is very small, and maximum high is 135cm, very hard to swim. Paroling is not there, it's just a few spots on the street.

Great location away from the craziness of the old town. Comfortable and modern, everything you could need.

The hotel is on a good location. Well located between the old town and the beach.

We were staying in the Oktober Downtown Hotel for 5 days, including the weekend. Unfortunately, there is a very loud Dutch karaoke bar right across the street which had a severe impact on our seep and rest. If you would like to go to Rhodes purely for partying, you can stay at this hotel. However, if you want to go to bed around 11 to enjoy your next day fresh, please do not go to this Hotel. The music from the Karaoke bar is very loud and will keep you awake for hours. After several times asking the staff for a new room, we have not heard anything from them and they completely ignored our concerns. Lastly, the music was also playing on Sunday afternoon which ruined our relax hour after coming home from the beach.We are very disappointed in the hotel and the staff that they did not come with a solution for our sleepless nights.Further, the breakfast was very simple and repetitive. The pool is always full since people put their towels on the beds before the breakfast even starts and further, the pool is not really a pool since it is only 50cm (0,5 meter) deep.All together, we are very unhappy with our stay at the Oktober Downtown Hotel and would suggest people who are not going on a party holiday to search for another hotel.
