Dorian Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dorian Hotel. Nikos was extremely kind and helpful, and the place exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, cute, had a beautiful balcony view, and best of all a very convenient location not far from town. Would stay again!

Quite a lot of steep steps to get there, not a problem for us but maybe elderly/ disabled people should be aware. Would 100% book the room with balcony, had it for one night and it really made a big impact to open the doors in the morning and enjoy breakfast with the view.

Amazing bed, perfectly equipped studio, beautiful hotel, perfect location, flexibility of check-in/out. Nikos A++++

The view from the terrace was great. We booked the maisonette. Dorian is in a quite area away from the main area but only a 5-10 min walk

The shower/toilet was small. Personally I didn't mind to much the steps leading up (74 steps).But people with mobility issues might struggle.

The apartment was very nice and spacious, host was helpful and always available

Would have preferred double bed instead of two singles and a small sofa or comfy chairs in lounge would have been nice to escape the heat

Loved the view from the balcony. Kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. Towels changed out daily. The host provided good information at check in. I

Stairs to the bedroom loft were a bit narrow, just need to be careful.

Very nice, friendly and helpful host, gave us many good recommendations (restaurants, transport, etc), the appartment was extremely clean; overall cozy

Nicos the chap running the place was wonderful,v helpful, v sociableHelped us with transportation to and from port.Left a bag on minibus and he immediately contacted the driver to return with my bag He remembered our names,recommended places to visit and restaurants to goI never felt he had any agenda ,just v nice guy

It was a traditional Greek bed which means it was raised so you had to use a step to accessWhile it was v comfortable if you had mobility issues it could be a problem We mentioned it to Nicos who said he was changing them for next year

Good views, good location, comfortable bed. Host organised transport from ferry to Dorian and back, very much appreciated.

More stairs than we realised. Internal stairs very steep, better for younger and fitter people than us.

Quiet location and very handy to Port Area.Nick is very hospitable, provided transfers to Port & even bought us a cup of coffee.

Room 25. The bed was on a sort of platform, hard to get down from in a hurry.no view from the room unless you leave a door open and then it’s extremely limited.The Kitchen & Dining Area was in a Cave with no Natural light.The shower and Grate on the bathroom floors are to big for the drainage pipes. These are annoying and represent trip hazard.

Nikos was the best host I ever seen! No kidding! He helped us a lot with everyting we needed and always on time!!! I really recommend this place, not only for its perfect location and great rooms with very confortable beds but also because you feel like you have friend there redy to help at a momentt's notice! You won't get better service enywhere else than here!

As stated in the property description, it does have a large number of steps but this just adds to the view

Luckily not for our room but some rooms maay have step stairs

Before the arrival the communication was excellent then we had the meet and greet upon arriving on the island. Nikos was very polite , kind and professional in showing us the apartment that we found very clean with amazing views and all the necessary. If we were to return, we would stay here again and recommend to all the persons who want to enjoy an authentic stay.

Very nice location, on a quiet part of the port, everything you need for cooking, breakfast snacks and the most important: extremely clean. The cleaning lady is a super hero, if I could I would take her home. Cleaning is excellent. Also was super nice to be picked up by the port so you don’t get lost first thing on arrival!

The location is excellent, just off the harbour front and the view was fantastic. The room itself is very spacious. Nikos was incredible- when we had a minor issue he fixed it immediately even though it was very late. He also had some excellent recommendations. Only stayed for one night but would definitely return!

A perfect place to stay on Symi. Nikos was a great host. The apartment was clean and the views are amazing. Great quiet location but just minutes form everything you need. Have to add that the Poseidon Trip Nikos recommended around the island was perfect day out and great value for money. We'll 100% be back.

The only fault - as with all hotels this trip, is that there is no external door handle to the balcony - so air con switches off as soon as you go out to the balcony. But that's minor and we loved this place!
