Opera House Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed the nice staff. It was always nice to start the day with hotel employee¿s enthusiasm. We liked our clean, spacious room, and the community feeling tone.

The location of the property was ideal—just a short walk to the bustling Symi port. The grounds felt like a small, self-contained village: well-maintained, clean, and peaceful. On-site parking was also a great convenience.Our room was very spacious and included a separate living area with a table, sofa, and kitchenette. The balcony featured two chairs, a table, and a drying rack for wet clothes or swimsuits—very practical for a beach stay.The bedroom itself was roomy, and the bed was comfortable. Only the bedroom was air-conditioned, but we slept very well. We didn’t spend much time in the room aside from sleeping, but when we were there, we often left the balcony doors open to let in a breeze through the living area.Our stay included breakfast and it was a very nice spread of breakfast food, coffee, tea, juices and water. There was indoor and outdoor seating, which was very comfortable. The owners of the property were very friendly and made you feel at home. Overall we recommend the Opera House and look forward to staying there again when visiting the beautiful Symi island.

Only bedroom was air conditioned.

Position and external areas

The rooms are not well maintened, poorely furnished and old. Bathroom was small, old.and.shower bot.working properly. More like an hostel

AC was quiet and the balcony view was corgeous.

I paid 708€ of 4 night's, i think we were robbed??The fotos that is on Booking, are NOT giving the correct understanding about the place.The place was from 70's??We saw from our balcony that there were at least one house(i don't know how many rooms there were in that building) witch was looking like 20th centaury?

Excellent location and very scenic with spectacular views. Walking distance to restaurants, taxi boats and the port. Family operated which makes it very cozy.

Location (5 mins walk to the port and tonnes of restaurants), friendly and helpful staff, amazing scenery. gorgeous pool area although the pool was freezing.

Hot breakfast was poor. cold breakfast was OK (pastries were bland and dry) but very limited selection. Would have appreciated a coffee machine also. the room itself was fairly old fashioned which is fine but the bed was extremely squeaky. mattress could be replaced. shower was also a bit dodgy and made a high pitched soundping pong table would have been good but the balls have misshapen in the sun so not able to be played

Opera House was in a great location within walking distance to main area. Very quiet and picturesque.

Coffee could have been stronger - but breakfast had a big selection.

The staff at Opera were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very good location, a close walk to everything.

Quiet and peaceful. Slightly away from the port but a very short walking distance. Spacious rooms and very clean. Family run and they were very helpful.

Maybe the tiny balcony but that was not a problem.

Easily accessible place ,near the center and the harbour. Tastefull and various breakfast, friendly greek personel, ready to help and give advice on practically anything. Keep doing the good Job guys!

The staff were friendly and helpful, a reasonable breakfast was served each day. The grounds and pol were kept tidy. The rooms were clean

The fixtures and fittings in the rooms were in need of renovation especially the bathrooms. Our first room was small and dark as the curtains would not open but we were quickly offered a change. The second room was better.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk down to the harbour/port. Lovely breakfast, great views from our room. Welcoming staff who offered their knowledge of the island.

They didn’t have a proper shower which could be attached properly to the wall.

we come back to this every year with our Greek /Norwegian family . Family suites are spacious and super if you have children as they have two bedrooms . Love the smell of herbs, the flowers, colours ,fig trees , cute cats . We got a renovated room with super comfortable beds , nice renovated bathroom. Great mountain view over symi , especially by night. The people and family that owns this place that works there are warm and loving . See you next year.
