Caresse, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Bodrum

There is so many positive comments I could make about this place. From the very entrance to every passing moment each member of the hotel made our stay memorable. All the people working at the resort have hearts of gold. The concierge and front desk provided and assisted me with my every need. Breakfast was amazing and made extra special because of cansell and fatima (their personality and character is unparalleled) Sami and Efe kindness and welcoming nature made us feel at home. Location was fantastic! Clear blue water, perfect little spots to just kick back and relax. Highly recommend this resort to anyone going to bodrum ! Unfortunately there is one person whose name has slipped my mind. ( the lovely lady who cleaned my room ) me and my wife noticed the extra touch she puts into her work. A humble request for the resort to reward her for her dedication and work ethic.

Comfortable resort

AC wasn’t working for 1 out of 2 nights and was blowing hot air and nothing was done about it, wasn’t fixed and we weren’t compensated

The rooms were great, clean and the view was amazing! Bedsheets were amazing, soft and clean! The service was amazing, staff was super friendly!

One little comment is that towels could be renewed.

Loved how the staff kept my room clean and also the breakfast staff. Special mention to Ibrahim, Aaron, Anastasia and the rest of the team. They were all very helpful

The friendliness and approach of the staff. Their attention to detail, or assisting in any personal matter they might help with. In my case, missing luggage, bookings for restaurants or Spa, and transportation

Everything on site was marginally more than expected, cost wise. But not enough to ruin our stay. Expected added cost for such a location and fabulous resort, but not as much as we found. Meals, drinks, mini bar, Spa treatments, all top Quality, but again, just marginally more than expected. Again, not enough to ruin or thinking about. An absolute Spectaular week, with amazing memories!

The beach was the only nice thing

We took 2 rooms, both these 2 rooms on the first day we slept there the electricity and air conditioning kept going on and off, not only once or twice but many times. We called them the first time and said someone will come help but no one showed up until I called again very angry that they did something. They did not fix anything they just turned off the electricity from the two rooms so it can stop from turning off and on, mind you this made us sleep without any air conditioning on. The next morning we had to call them (again) to open the electricity back up and send someone because no one remembered or cared about our problem. In general I don’t and won’t recommend anyone there and definitely won’t repeat this experience.

no need for a golf car to reach the beach or anything , most five star hotels in bodrum are massive . I loved the art pieces in the hotel , and food is very delicious.

I am disappointed regarding the breakfast experience during my recent stay at your hotel. As a guest who values a satisfying morning meal, I regret to inform you that the quality and variety of the breakfast offered fell far below my expectations.

Firstly, the food options provided in the breakfast spread were limited and lacked diversity. Only a few basic items were available, and the lack of variety made it challenging for guests to find suitable choices based on their dietary preferences and restrictions. Additionally, the freshness and presentation of the food were subpar, leaving much to be desired.Moreover, the overall taste and quality of the dishes were disappointing. The hot items were lukewarm at best and lacked flavor. The bread and pastries seemed stale and unappetizing. It was evident that attention to detail and culinary expertise were lacking in the preparation and execution of the breakfast offerings.

Great service, friendly stuff. I loved the spa very much. and Buddha-Bar Beach is amazing. Its a great combination of chillout and partying as the hotel is only 10 min away (by car) from Bodrum. I had the best time. Very satisfied and look forward to returning

The new Manager has a big job on his hands to get this hotel back into shape. On arrival they ask you for your credit card so full payment is taken. That’s the very first thing they ask of you. The most unwelcoming treatment, and this carried on throughout. There were only three staff who were charming and gave good service. The lady sommelier was incredibly rude and would have only been charming if I had ordered a hugely expensive bottle. The drinks list is extremely expensive, cheapest bottle of wine is €120 and aperol spritz €26! We paid a little over £1000 per night, room was standard and in 8 nights our beds were turned down twice. The lack of hospitality and service runs all the way through, staff very rarely greet you. The were too many things that went wrong for me to list. I was not the only guest complaining. The Manager was eventually told by a member of his beach staff that we were unhappy and his guest relations lady Maria never bothered to let him know that I had emailed on the second day to speak with him but he was good enough to send a bottle of wine and apology card to the room which my daughter and I appreciated. The hotel has lost the opportunity of our return, that’s surely speaks for itself.

It’s not a good hotel for a family to stay. They have Buddha bar with loud music until 2 AM and they also have other reservations like weddings or birthday parties, due to the architecture of the hotel music from all those are almost like all of it is happening in your room. It’s not like one place makes a loud music, it’s mix of loud music from different places which is like a torture.For this price range and the word Luxury in their name you would expect everything from breakfast to design of the rooms to be much better, but it’s not the case. Even 3 star hotels in bodrum has better room design inside than this hotel. It’s also not so clean, there were ants everywhere in the balcony, they should sort it out.Another point I would like to mention is the crazy prices for the alcoholic drinks. An Aperol Spritz was €25, a glass of wine was €20-30. Since we were not happy with the prices and the food from the restaurants, we took cab and had all of our dinners in the most luxurious places of Bitez and I was shocked to notice that a bottle of wine which I was charged €100 for is actually €40 even at the most expensive restaurant of Bitez. This is outright a ripoff and it doesn’t make sense.The breakfast was included but the selection in the breakfast and the freshness of cheeses etc wasn’t great. I would expect much better from a hotel at this price range.Since the water was cold we wanted to spend most of our time by the pool which had a nice, relaxing ambiance but of course they had something to ruin it. They had a shop just behind the pool and they had dance music all day long that leaks outside of their store and gets mixed with the relaxing music by the pool. When I ask them to turn it down they get annoyed, answer rudely and turn the volume down by 1, which didn’t help.

it would have better if we would have more plug in for charging phones and laptops at the same time. currently only two and no usb plug ins for charging

Staff are not professional enough. They need training. (Reception and breakfast restaurant). My first comment about the reception staff. I arrived late and upon check in. The guy at the reception informed me about the payment. I thought my payment was done already as It was non refundable. He kept asking me about an email. As i'm lying. I told him that i'll check with my bank. My reservation shows it's non refundable so I assumed the payment was done, because I did it during my flight. I told him if not. Then, I'll proceed immediately. The phone call took minutes.I couldn't track my bank texts for this reservation too, due to other different payments during my travel. I found out that the payment wasn't done, so I proceed and paid the full payment immediately. I again explained why I had to check which is my right, but I guess the language barrier could be the reason, he still was telling me the payment wasn't done. I told him ok, but let me check it from my end. it's clear for you, but nothing from my side. I believe to have a front desk team who doesn't speak English will always cause an issue and to have a team in front desk who doesn't welcome guests or to have friendly manners that will reflect badly the image of the resort. Second comment, Staff in restaurant especially the breakfast always talking as they are not in duty and the chief was checking his mobile and talking to the waiter as they are in break, not even greeting guest. That is not professional at all. The staff talks casually and the chef was checking his mobile and in conservation as well with other staff. That's said, the cleaning staff are sweet and professional and moreover the staff at the beach. They were greeting guests and very professional. Maybe it's better to have a staff members in front desk as the beach team. Finally, The wifi is bad and needs to be enhanced.

excellent location

the hair dryer in the room nearly caught fire and thankfully didn’t electrocute my wife while using it.. when reported to management they apologised but had no evidence of ever conducting a check on the appliance. I also had an ice pack that I asked receptionist to put in freezer but on check out the pack was cold but not frozen which meant I had to throw my medication away as it has to be kept cold

We celebrate my birthday there and that was just amazing everything perfect restaurants the service on the beach the shopping the room beautiful view just everything is perfect I will say this is European level

The breakfast was terrible. Definitely not 5 star quality. Also sometimes the staff would bring dirty glasses when we ask for water, etc. even at the breakfast, everything is not very clean.
