Filoxenia Hotel

Very clean, perfect location, very warm for winter days. The host is very kind and helpful. The building is also veru beautiful and nostalgic. We loved it. Definitely will come back again.

Hotel location is great. A/C works fine to heat up the room. Bed is comfy. Hotel staff is friendly and super helpful. They give me recommendation to visit and help me to order food when my hands are hurt due to a fall.

Bathroom is quite small so if you are tall like me, you will not feel comfortable.

The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of the main street and major attractions. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Our room was located right next to the reception, which unfortunately resulted in some noise and a lack of privacy. This was the only aspect that slightly impacted our stay.

Location was mid if the city.

The building was old. There wasn't an elevator. The steps to the entrance of the hotel and to the rooms were too high. Bed was iron and noisy, the mattress was too thin. Shower was so tiny. Everything was too old.

The staff were really nice and helpful, made me feel at home. They also helped me out as i had to arrive quite early , way before the regular checkin time. The rooms were very nice depending on price, ceilings are very high which feels much better. Actually couldn't be better.

There is not really a thing that i disliked related to the facility itself except for maybe a relatively loud street because of the taverna nearby. but it was mostly nothing too loud, just maybe some greek songs :) also the windows isolate the noise perfectly

Pricey for what we got. Super small balcony def no for those with disabilities. Small room but port prices are generally outrageous

Friendly staff, I arrived on the 5am ferry, they let me store my bags all morning and let me check in early when the room was ready. Thanks Joanne! Close to everything in town.

A few mosquitoes flew in when I left the window open but no big deal.

Location, cleanliness, staff wise very good a pp deal

Noise inside the property at public areas. My bed was sharing a thin wall to the reception so I was hearing every move even the scrape of the receptionist’s chair.

Amazing location and clean. I would stay here again for the location. The staff were incredibly nice. you can walk everywhere from the hotel.

The ac was a bit weak. My room was comfortable but it took a while to cool off the room.

Hotel's crew were so warm and sincere they have tried to help on any issues i have got and they did. Especially beautiful Joanne did excelent job.The other guy was also so helpfull and hospitable as well.The hotel is in the center and so close to everywhere.Thanks a lot..

Door was made of wood.There was no soundproofing.The bathroom is so small it is difficult to move around.Chios police should warn motorcyclists, how right is it to ride a motorbike so loudly at night in a touristic place?

In the middle or the center. Everywhere is in walking distance. The free coffee in the morning at the lobby was very good. Oh but get ready for the stairs in the entrance of the hotel!

Fantastic location at the side of port which consists the best cafeshops and restaurants. Also, 2 minutes distance from the local market.Very clean hotel. The personnel was extremely friendly. There was no hair dryer but they gave as one when we needed.

This is my second time staying here, I will continue to stay at Filoxenia when I come to Chios. The location is close to everything, the staff are all friendly and the room was clean.

Staff could be more quite especially in the morning at 07.00 a.m around:)

The building itself has a lovely architecture, beautiful floors, and high ceiling. Perfect location, very central, 5 min walk to the port.

The shower is exceptionally tiny. The beds are old and uncomfortable.

Great location and friendly helpful staff. Bag storage. Room was clean and as described. We liked our view from the window and balcony of old town rooftops. It was an easy walk to restaurants in the evening and to the ferry in the morning. Very good value for money.

Nothing but there are stairs if you have mobility issues.
