Pearl Bay Hotel

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The coffee was amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was the best I've experienced in greece.

The pool was opened too late and closed too early. We never got to enjoy it since we were experiencing the island during the afternoon.

It's located centraly on the eastern shore of Chois. It's a reasonable distance to all of the beautiful beaches with a variety to choises from those with water sports activities, umbrellas, chairs, food and drinks as well as those that are quite with just umbrella, chairs and restaurants, no water sports and remote quiter where you bring your own umbrella/ chairs. Some beaches are 5 minute walk, others 30 to 40 min Cab/drive. It's within walking distance (2 to 5 min walk) to several tavernas on the water with excellent food and a 15 minute drive/cab ride to the pier or center of Chios where there's a mix of upscale, mid and inexpensive restaurant all with excellent food, bars, dancing and shopping are located. They have a beautiful pool for days you want to not travel and relax. There's parking for all the guests in the hotel for those renting cars. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean and the service is prompt. There are Eastern Orthodox Churches within walking distance. Their complementary breakfast between 7am and 10:30am served a nice variety each day

Room was great, everything was clean and comfortable. Pool and breakfast was good. Location is great

The only thing I didn’t love, the cleaning staff ignored the do not disturb signs and walked in and knocked very loudly multiple times when I was asleep. One instance I was just out of the shower and a cleaning woman walked in, even though do not disturb light was turned on.

the room was very nice and clean and a good size for us, but the bathroom needs to have at least a shower curtain,when you take a shower and the water goes everywhere is not good at all ! and , not being able to hang the shower head on the wall , very inconvenient to say the least! Place a shower curtain and a spot for the shower head and you have an awesome bathroom along with a very nice room !

The location, the size of the room.. there was a bottle of wine in the room as a gift. The beach is in front of the hotel. There is a very nice fish restaurant near the hotel

He property was very nice and clean and airy. Very nice room (tho you could use something to hold the windows/doors open). The staff was amazing! They were so helpful and pleasant. I would def recommend this place.

There was nothing not-to-like.

This is the second time we have done a one night stay at Pearl Bay, it's a very convenient hotel with good sized rooms, underground parking and a nearby local restaurant on the sea front. Staff are all very helpful.

HOWEVER - the carpeting in the room was FILTHY DIRTY - huge stains everywhere, There were no soaps/shampoos supplied to the room, they were given when we requested them. There was only a sheet given for the bed, which is not warm enough if you prefer to slep with aircon.

Great location, lovey staff, underground parking garage, and lovely grounds.

The shower system needs to be simplified and entering the shower is a bit more challenging.

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Location was perfect next to the beach and a couple of nice cafes/tavernas. The room was large and beautiful view from balcony. We enjoyed our stay very much and thoroughly recommend it.

Good location, right on the bus route. Nice beach nearby and great pool. Good continental breakfast.

I wish the double mattress is changed to two separate ones. We are two restless sleepers and every time one moves the other can feel it.The worst part were the sharp ends of the bed and the angular sides. My shins have proof of the damage caused by these corners. A way must be found to cover the sharp corners or have them rounded off.

Location was good and parking facilities very good.

Breakfast was of a poor standard - quality of products needs attention. Coffee was like dishwater. Pool opened too late for guests - rope all around the pool was a hazard and unpleasant.Cleanliness needs attention - taps were never cleaned in bathroom and leaking showers were a nuisance.Upkeep of facilities needs attention.

Adequate breakfast but limited choices. Very spacious rooms.

The hotel was very clean and our room was also. The pool area was so nice and enough big for everyone. The staff members were so nice and polite.

Almost nothing was negative about hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Pearl Bay this July!! The hotel was always clean and our rooms made up each day. Very friendly staff and always willing to accommodate your requests. I really enjoyed the daily breakfast as well. The pool is beautiful, it was a great way to cool off from the heat. Would highly recommend!

The hotel has excellent rooms fully equipped with facilities and comfortable beds. The location is also excellent and very near the city of Chios. We also liked very much the spacious underground garage that the facility has, and the garden with the swimming pool.

The breakfast room was very small and as a result at the peak breakfast hour (8-9.30 am) one could not find a table. Also, some facilities needed service (e.g. the safe did not work most probably due to lack of a new battery).

Great breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, closed to pool and also sea. Sea is wonderful.The other good thing is Hotel has private parking area.

I stayed at Pearl Bay Hotel for 3 nights. My room was quite nice. Quite big, Sofa, bed, desk, kitchen unit, ... - All you might ask for.During the night I had noice from next doors bathroom and due to strong wind there was some noise on top of the roof. I told the reception but of cause nothing could be changed as it is a matter of the building itself.Breakfast was offered next to the reception. There was not enough space for the amount of guest at this time. And to be honest, it was mainly greek breakfast. I decided to have my own breakfast in my room/on my balcony and just have a coffee in the breakfast area.Well, in total it was ok, but I think next time on Chios I will try to find another place.

Spacy and very comfortable room. Available space if you needed to work(had a pc also) Free Coffee in the room, A working fridge!!!! Which was a plus. And a bottle of wine was offeredAn underground parking which was great to put your car into. Protecting the car from heat and a safe plaCe plus almsot direct access to the roomLocation was very good. Just 10 mins away from chios and by the sea.Clean pool.

The breakfast was poor. Nothing special. We missed it most of the days. The jacussi buttons were damaged so we had a few issues while taking our bath. Also the drainage was poor. Last but not least, the staff/managing behaviour could be improved. Not particullary friendly.
