HOTEL HIMALAYA SEA

Great view on the sea side. I was there in off season so the restaurant was not always open. I did not have a car and it was a bit far to the bus stop so taxi is the option. There is a shuttle if you plan right. The breakfast was brought to my room with tasty variety with some seafood items. Overall a good value stay. Nice hike around the island nearby.

I didn't have breakfast there.The views were excellent. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and cordial. The bathrobes were comfortable.The bathroom had a cheap feel, mostly due to the marble-imitation contact paper on the walls.

I did not like the fact that all pics of the property showed rugs under the bed and tables. My room and that of my companions didn't have any rugs, making the room look like a furniture shop.We didn't like finding a relatively-big cockroach near the bed on the first night.

The view and the facilities were stunning! The bed was very comfortable and the onsen was amazing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location was easy to find, although steep, and the amenities offered were worth the price. I would 100% book again!

(There was a used teabag in the trashcan when we arrived and the wrapper was in the pocket of the fuzzy jacket, which I was a little unhappy with)

The location was great. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff. Very helpful and friendly, the room was large and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom needs a little bit of remodeling.

The property was the best for the location and best for the value.the staff were very very friendly.The service was best .

There was nothing to dislike,The parking was little bit down side of the main road ,It would be good if they keep the big road sign of the hotel at road

The owners of this hotel were beyond wonderful. We made a change to our itinerary so we could cool off at the beach, and we are so happy we did. The room was large, clean, and overlooked the ocean. The pool was spacious and deep enough for swimming or simply relaxing. We ordered dinner and breakfast, and everything tasted amazing. On our last day, the trains and buses were down because of a tsunami warning, so we were unable to leave. The owners allowed us to continue using the pool and gave us a room to use at no extra cost. Then, when we still could not find any kind of transportation to our next destination, the owner drove us an hour and a half to our next hotel. We would not have made it to our next destination that day otherwise. The owners of this hotel went above and beyond with their graciousness. My entire family would highly recommend a stay at this relaxing, beautiful beach hotel.

Everything is great! A little gem of a hotel with the best breakfast I’ve had in Japan on this trip. Owners are kind but you do need google translate. Up a hill so need to get a taxi or good walking shoes. Rooms have views to die for. Pool is lovely with sea view. Open self serve honor bar. Bathrobes and nice couch and chairs and tableIn each room. Relaxing and a special little town called ITO. Love ❤️ highly recommended!

Hard to communicate so have a good translate and need to call for taxi but super minor issues! Can order you food in if you want but have no restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Though it wasn’t fully booked, it had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and all the lovely details that enhanced our experience—from the various onsen options to the complimentary bar and excellent coffee.Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was exquisite—I slept better than I have in a long time!So far, this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan, even compared to the big chains. If you’re visiting the region, this place is absolutely worth it!

Huge room, comfy bed with couch and nice TV. The view we had of the beach was amazing. The balcony was big. Room was very clean. There was free drinks downstairs, as well as silverware if you order food.

The shower head was in the center of the shower, idk if it was just our room but it was weird and inconvenient. Also the drain in the tub was in the center too so if you step on it, it will start filling up while taking a shower. Location isn’t terrible but if you don’t have a rental car, you’re walking about 25 minutes from the station and if you didn’t know about the stairs in the back beforehand the hill is terrible and dangerous. There wasn’t that many bathroom amenities and considering how much we paid you’d think there would be more.

The sea view was breathtaking. The room was spacious. Relaxing terrace after bath. Free soft drinks. TV with netflix. Everything was perfect.

We stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been longer. This is a really well run little hotel with an amazing ocean view. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We chose the half board option and were not disappointed. The dinners were a delicious array of fresh local seafood. The pool and onsen are great bonuses. There is a path which leads to the beach and takes just 5 minutes. Take the train from Atami to Usami and then it’s a short taxi ride to the hotel.

See views, clean, spacious room, nice pool area.

Hardly no easy access to the beach, shame that there was no restaurant and no attendance at the bar

We went in the latter half of May and the person at the reception was incredibly kind and gave us a free upgrade! The room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view of the ocean. Huge room with huge bath, huge bed. Great breakfast. Free drinks. Private bath you can do too.
