Pros +

  • Breakfast was freshly cooked to order as was the other food and snacks, all the staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, had wonderful relaxed and interesting dives with Kevin and Dell and some of the coral was quite amazing and in pristine condition
  • While only having a 24h layover in Vanuatu, this place was great to dive a little into the natural beauty of this country. The snorkeling was amazing with a colourful reef and plenty of fish to discover. The room was comfy, the communal bathroom clean. The airport shuttle seems to work 50/50. My pick up was flawless and uncomplicated and brought me straight to the island (check-in after 6pm was no problem)

Cons -

  • Everything was disgusting
  • Nothing in particular that i didn't like, but for the price per night I was paying having AC in my room would have been nice
  • My airport shuttle back to the airport however was a disaster. The driver Jim (who dropped me the day before, and who assured me it's only a 15min drive so I wouldn't have to leave too early to the airport) just decided not to rock up. So 1, 30h before my flight I was still stuck on the island. The receptionist tried her best to try for an alternative, but ended up refunding me the cost of the airport shuttle (2.000 VUV) and I ended up hitchhiking to the airport. Beside the stress, I ended up arriving just in time. So while I recommend this place for a peaceful 1 day layover, give yourself enough time getting back to the airport.
