Hotel Sentral Kuantan @ Riverview City Centre

As per recommendation, I chose the river view room and was thrilled to see the river every time I'm in the room. There's a liquid hand soap dispenser beside the sink which I love and inside the room has iron and board. The pillows are very comfortable and they put it on sale in the lobby. Staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast spread has many options. Location is superb as it is 5mins walk to Kuantan188. I hope to visit again here soon and enjoy more of sightseeing and food!

The location is extremely at the heart of Kuantan, the hotel parking is acceptable and the buffet breakfast is ok

The carpet smell in the room is quite horrible. The bathroom is not clean enough

Room is small but clean. Good location, food stall all within walking distance. Breakfast is simple and delicious, can add in hard boil egg will be good.

Location was in town so finding food wasn’t a problem and near to the city sights. Room was spacious (as I got upgraded to the family room). Found the bed and pillows comfortable.

Walls were paper thin so I could hear everything going on outside my door (other guests talking in the corridors, doors slamming etc). My room (room no. 1115 I think) was also facing the roadside so noise from the vehicles outside was quite substantial. This didn’t bother me too much as I am not a light sleeper but for someone who is, I imagine this might be a problem (they would not get a good night’s sleep). I was in and out of the hotel after just one night as I was on a business trip. However, I would not choose to stay here if it was a personal vacation or if I am looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Wasn’t too impressed with the cleanliness either esp in the bathroom but for the price paid, I expected this. The sink got clogged up for some reason as well (water wasn’t flowing down smoothly).

The location of the hotel is near the river. I had good views from my room. The Kuantan tower short walk and there is an excellent walk/runway that follows the river. Comfortable bed and clean room

Very noisy as people and children can be heard clearly in the room. Had issues with the mini instant water heater in the shower, Had cold showers. Small room, & ordinary breakfast. Far away from other tourist sites. I ended up checking out a day earlier

The room is very cozy, clean and have all the things including hairdryer, mini bar and free flow of shampoo and body wash. The roof top is good to see the night view of Kuantan.

location of the hotel is in the center of kuantan, close by muka coffee, kula cakes, kuantan pickers, ms elliot. All walking distance.

they only provide 3 pillows and when i ask for extra button they charge for rm10

Hotel location are very strategic.

Door sound, if other guest from other room, close the door, the sound bangggg, so disturbing.

Near to event festival place. So many coffee shop and restaurant

Good location. City centre. Had nice walk by the Kuantan river just behind the hotel.

I had difficulties with Booking.com when I wanted to do the booking. Cant go thru the website, so I walked in to the reception and the staff assisted me from A-Z until I managed to to checked in and rest.Next morning I accidently left my breakfast voucher in the hotel room. I wanted to go back and collect the voucher from my room, but the chef asked me to just enjoy my breakfast. He assisted by confirming with the reception team.I was the last to leave the restaurant in fact exceeded the breakfast time (due to my extended meeting with my client), but we were not "chase out" and proceed with our meeting.

For ladies, our crucial item during our travel will always be iron and hair dryer. Please look in this items to be in the room.

hotel rooms facing main road.. rooms facing the main road are not sound proof.. you can hear the motorist racing on the main road till 3 am.. difficult to get a decent sleep

I was not realized the window facing inside building wall/ other room. The twist is its only mentioned not windowless but not stated anywhere without outside view... Want to upgrade but weekend rooms are fully booked.Felt suffocated ... doesnt hurt if the hotel tell the inconvenience upfront. Trauma for claustahobic people. Depression is real

Location wise is very good. near to attractive place especially famous Kula Cakes. You can stay there and play tourist because all attractive place os only walking distance. Breakfast also have many option. Nice hotel to stay.

Soundproof need some improvement. Wall too thin. you can hear sound from room when walking at coridor.

Near the center where you can just walk around to explore the attractions

I can hear the sounds from outside and even the nearby rooms. But they were not being loud so it was okay for me.
