Cons -
- Room style was quite old , but we understand that there were renovations ongoing during our stay. Hope they could renovate in the future.
- The cottage we stayed was near to mosque so we could hear loud prayer especially at dawn. For those light sleeper better not to choose cottage

View over town. Easy minibus access. Large room. Huge pool
Dated. Needs upgrade
Great hotel, great breakfast buffet - wide selection of dishes. Large bright rooms with balcony overlooking the mountains and two large swimming pools, I recommend this hotel. Very easy booking and helpful staff. We had the opportunity to meet the General Manager of the hotel and all the staff, who were at our disposal all the time. They helped us organize trips around the area - we are impressed by such friendly staff. Greetings to all the hotel staff. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in Indonesia.
I have no comments
Firstly, would like to commend the hotel's manager Mr Eddy, who is always smiling and happy to serve his guest. He recommended a local guide to go to Spiso-spiso Waterall, lake toba, to climb Mt Sibayak and to the hot spring. Breakfast was good, however, the food is mostly lukewarm, probably due to the cool weather in Berastagi. Room was comfortable except the TV programmes were a bit disappointing. Also, if the balcony light could be turned off in individual rooms would be good.
Very spacious, friendly staff who helped you with anything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice
Drain in shower smelt a little but apart from that it was a great stay
We like the resort itself as it has a big backyard which can be used as an area to chill. We can see there are other room options to upgrade to which can be a consideration for our next stay. It is like a villa, and it looks nice. Probably there are better amenities in those villas.
Sorry to say but Food is cold, and we started to have a stomachache after the breakfast. We cannot be 100% sure if it is that particular food but it is definitely not the freshest food we have ever had. Amenities could be better; it did look quite old, and we did not sleep well the night before.
View from the balcony
Breakfast coffee very bad. In a region growing some of the best coffee in the world, a 4 star hotel should make an effort to promote it.
Nice location, nice view, good staffVery nice garden
Expensive extra bed
The service and location is good
The room not really clean
Room was comfortable. Grounds and view were lovely.
It was a little bit outside the town..staff has no knowledge of activities including the volcano which is primary activity in the area. For info there is a tourist information building on right just as you enter market area where you can book guided sunrise trek through
Very nice place with very well kept garden, beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff
Not that great
Loud party music from hotel ground penetrating into the hotel room late into night even after 11pm.
There is no much choices for breakfast but overall it should be ok. It will be awesome if some western foods to be added in.
We came there during raining period. We were walking towards the cottage under the rain. Propose the management could install walking path with roofing towards the cottage as they are a bit away from the main building.
The grounds around the hotel are well kept with an amazing view of the vulcanoStaff is incredibly friendly Edi, checked us in and offered us incredible support and informations about the surrounding areas
The grounds are well maintained and the greenery is lovely
I booked the deluxe cottage. The bathroom was bad - the mirror had black patches, the shower tray was deplorable, the toilet seat looked unclean. It was nothing like the photos. I asked to change to two rooms instead ( I was travelling with my brother and had booked the deluxe cottage as it was spacious) as each room was small, but even though the hotel had 29% occupancy, it would not accommodate me. Wanted me to pay more, even though I had paid considerably above what the hotel was selling the deluxe cottage for on their website. In the end I just took one room (down graded myself) even though I had paid a high price for the cottage. I was short changed, but I couldn't sleep in the deluxe cottage. Very unhappy.
Very clean room, easy check-in. Also, the staff is willing to help you out with anything.
Rooms are very noisy. We’ve woke up multiple times due to sounds from in and outside the hotel. Furthermore, the restaurant is too expensive and there are not that many good restaurants in the near area.
The staff, especially the manager Mr. Adi who made our stay a great experience. Great views from the room, clean comfortable rooms. Great breakfast buffet.
Very friendly personal. Especially Edi helped us a lot. Thanks again.
The breakfast could be a bit more variety. And it would be sooooo cool if the pool would be a hot spring. But that's just a thought.
