    Pros +

    • Spacious rooms, nice views of the pools and the ocean. I can’t remember the name of the woman at the front desk who helped in rebooking a canceled flight on Lion Air. Without her help we would have been stranded. She spoke good English. The food was ok. Overall, a pleasant setting when compared to the chaotic city of Ambon.
    • We upgraded to the biggest room, which made our stay much more satisfying. The room was very spacious, and I loved the balcony overlooking the pool
    • I think the beds are a bit damped (less dry), its because the sea breeze bring dampness.the maintenance are far from satisfactory (I am aware to maintain such a big area is costly

    Cons -

    • The location is very relaxing and quiet but you are far from the city center so one needs to get a taxi or Grab driver to get anywhere if want to buy anything.
    • It’s not well-maintained. The whole resort is old and really needs renovation to make it more updated. The style is outdated, and it even looks like an abandoned hotel, although it isn’t. The food wasn’t great either
    • the road maintenance shoud be improved, again I am aware that it is costly

Great place to relax if in Ambon. Given location and is a resort thought food and drinks were good value and tasty. Large pool that you can do laps. Staff very friendly and helpful. Huge room, starting to get a little run down but still very comfortable and everything works well. Spent time in Ambon on way out to other islands so was looking for somewhere to chill on return. I was there in late July so not very full, might be different in busy season.

Nothing about property. Beach itself didn’t look great for swimming but might be better in dry season

    Big spacious room, nice staffs

The room is kinda of worn out, mold on the wall, wifi is not working

    7DavidPosted on: 4-14-2025

Great staff, really helpful. All of them! The place is getting a bit tired and needs a repaint, appears to be a massive place with parts of it not used for years. Does need new sheets and pillows, they were thin and old and lumpy. But the room (307) was big, great views with a balcony. We were quite comfortable for 4 nights.Food in the restaurant is good, fine for our Western palates. Would we stay there again? Definitely. It’s probably the highest quality place in Ambon and the customer service is five star!

Excellent experience, stayed (chosen) in a not busy time period. Liked the spacious (superior) room, bed, bathroom and balcony (both front and back). Great view. Professional staff. No dislike.

Waitstaff: The mature female waitstaff in the restaurant gave excellent service and were very dedicated.Restaurant Management: The restaurant manager and Head Chef were friendly and made our dining experience enjoyable.Welcome Fruits in room upon arrival.Housekeeping Staffs and Manager full also gave excellent service and were very dedicated.Facilities:The large pool and beautiful gardens were great. We enjoyed the views of both the sunrise and sunset. The beach and snorkelling areas were easily accessible. The jetty was also easy to get to.

Pool Experience: The hotel full Occupancy due to the Indonesian school and Aid Fitri holidays. This made the pool area crowed noisy and less enjoyable, especially with people eating around the pool.Bed Configuration: We asked for a king-sized bed but got two twin beds connected together, which caused noise when accessing them. We understand this depends on availability, but it would have been better if there was an effort to meet our request with Long Term Guests.Breakfast Options: The breakfast had many Indonesian dishes, but there were not enough western food options.Beach Maintenance: The beach area had visible litter, which seemed to be neglected. It wasn’t clear if this was due to the gardener not attending to it or a lack of management attention.Security Staff: Some security staff were unfriendly. We walked on the corridors one standing with housekeeping staff, shouting and blocking the way for guests as a reminder to the staff.Bathroom and Furniture: The grout in the bathroom had built-up stains, and some furniture, the bedside table, bathroom door, and wardrobe, looked worn and needed maintenance.Littering: Some local guests were littering in public areas, and the parking lot wasn’t well-maintained.

Beautiful resort. Nice room. Very large. Helpful staff. Shuttle available to airport. OK restaurant.

Nothing within walking distance. There was an ATM though.

Nice pool and location.Very helpful staff.

Food was relatively pricey and mixed in quality. The tuna with pepper plus the beef rendang were both very good, but the gado gado salad was awful and the satay ayam (chicken) was chewy and over-cooked. Resort is a little tired but acceptable especially considering this is the third world.

The beach and pool were beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back every day. :(

Paradise found! My stay at The Natsepa in Ambon was pure magic. Stunning location, gorgeous and spotless rooms, and incredibly comfortable. The outstanding service and friendly staff made it truly exceptional. Highly recommend!

That I was not allowed to park in the VIP parking area ?

    7GjPosted on: 12-30-2024

The room was spacious, providing plenty of comfort. We also loved the overall setting, especially the beautifully maintained gardens, which added a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, the maintenance could use some improvement—a fresh coat of paint would make a big difference. The pictures online are quite deceiving, as the place looks much more run-down in reality. While there are plenty of breakfast options, they seem more tailored to local tastes, with fried rice being a staple. Western guests might appreciate better-quality bread, a wider variety of fresh fruits, and a dedicated yoghurt section. The pool is stunning, but the loud tacky music detracts from the peaceful ambiance. A quieter atmosphere would make the space feel much more stylish and enjoyable.

nice breakfast buffet, nice large comfortable rooms with balcony overlooking the bay, good restaurant, friendly staff

my room had a (locked) door to the next room, which is not the same as a wall and the last night the other room was occupied by a very noisy family which obviously received visitors all the time and one heard all the conversation and kids.....told the staff when checking out but I think the people there are generally more tolerant to noise.....;o))

Good room, good staff, nice bar, restaurant.24 hr reception.

Ok for me, but there were lots of stairs. Didn't see any elevators. Reception needed to take photos on their mobile phones of my passport and my entry visa. Who knows where this ended up!Myself and friend ordered two different pizzas, two identical pizzas arrived. Probably shouldn't have ordered pizza. Expensive ride to airport.

    6SilvioPosted on: 12-17-2024

breakfast buffet, pool, pick up / drop off service worked fine. wifi working fine.

incompetence of staff regarding rebooking (delay in responding on requests, blaming us at the front desk for not providing correct information, just to figure out afterwards, that they made the mistake on their own an appologizing heavily,..). it looks nice, but it's run down and would need some work. examples? there was a hole in the balcony roof, and we got wet as it was raining. key cards for the rooms were failing constantly so one had to walk back to the front desk ask for assitance. the plastic hose in the shower was kinked and causing a low pressure water flow.

It has a great location, it is spacious and quiet.
