I loved everything: the location was close to everything but quiet, the beds comfortable, and the staff was amazing and so incredibly helpful (including, keeping our bags while we were travelling around Santa Marta). I would definitely come back to this hotel and am very grateful for them for having created such a positive experience for me and my family. Muchísimas gracias!

No table in the room. Cold water. Slow internet

Staff were friendly and helpful, was able to organise my laundry for me. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Close enough to walk down town to all attractions.

What a beautiful hostel !! Loved the stay. It’s decorated so nicely and the staff is super considerate. I had to leave in 10 min notice and they quickly gave me a wonderful breakfastHighly recommend !

The rooms are basic but large and clean, and the beds comfortable. The staff were really nice and let me leave my luggage for a few days before my stay, and a few days after as I used it as a base for Tayrona and the lost city trek.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like, nothing was wrong. The rooftop and hot tub aren’t anything special, but it wasn’t a reason for my stay so it didn’t bother me.

We used our stay here as a base to go to Tayrona for three days and the staff was super helpful with everything from storing our luggage to booking a taxi and even made us a packed breakfast to bring as we left early in the morning. And the roof terrace was great for relaxing in the evening!

The area is not the safest. My partner almost got robbed walking home late at night so make sure to take a taxi.

I stayed here every time I came to Santa Marta. Comfortable beds, good showers, large rooms and lots of channels on the TV. The included breakfast was top class as well. Such great value for the price. Staff so helpful as well. I had a couple issues with my room and the staff were quick to sort everything out for me. Also good location, close to the supermarkets, restaurants down the road and a park gym with basketball/football court and chess just outside.

Cannot fault the place for the value.

We stayed here twice - once before and once after Tayrona - and we were happy on both occasions. The staff took great care of our backpacks during our absence. The room was satisfying as the first time, as well as the breakfast.

The place is located about ten minutes from the main area. It's clean and comfortable and offers great value. Air con worked well and the rooms are quiet. The staff organized early transport for me and made me a sandwich to go which was really appreciated on the flight.

The bright white lights should be replaced with warm lights to help with sleeping. This is a notorious problem in Colombia. Blinds should be offered above the sink window to prevent light at 6am.

There was nothing that I liked about the property other than the location. They were nice enough to give us a discount for the lack of electricity

The property needs a lot of work. It looks better in the pictures. When we got there they had lost electricity. We had no Wi-Fi. Noair conditioner and my room in particular had no lights until like probably three in the morning. The shower needs to be unclogged. There’s barely any water coming out of the shower cap. Either they need to clean them out or they need to fix the plumbing. The breakfast is average.
