Hotel Catedral Plaza

Patricia and Sarai made a big change on my first impression. They were extremely nice and accommodating. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without them. The suits were beautiful and clean. The house keeping staff very friendly. The food from the restaurant waa incredible.

The only problem at that time was that we were not lucly to have the pool available to use. But we understand that this are situations that are out of their hands

Kind staff

Pictures are deceiving. The place maybe used to be a nice hotel 20 years ago but it’s very badly maintained, with broken bathroom doors and stains on the chairs. Most importantly the shower had only cold water which isn’t acceptable for a hotel a bit on the pricy side for Santa marta standards. Also the sink is outside the bathroom

The staff are incredible, especially Gladys in the dining room. They provide the best customer service I have ever experienced. The food at the restaurant is outstanding, and the team is dedicated to helping you around the clock.

The drinking water and ice are not provided by the hotel.The AC was a little old and makes noise

Room was in poor maintenance condition: - curtains fell off- the two bathroom drainage didn’t have the cover, having two holes one in the shower and one in the middle of the bathroom- hair dryer was broken- sink was stuck and would not drain the water-

Good location. Nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Hot water and air conditioning.

It's ok. Food could be better. Needs a bit more flavor though and variety.

Great location, close to everything in Santa Marta. Staff was kind and friendly, Gladys was especially accommodating, and we were happy to see her again after our last stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool/bar area was a great place to relax at the end of a day.

The A/C wasn't working the best in our room. My wife had trouble checking in even though I wrote ahead of time that she would be getting the room first due to travel on my part.

Good location close to parque de los novios full of bars and restaurants. The steward was really helpful and proactive in solving issues (eg bad WiFi) much better than the receptionists.

No hot water, very poor WiFi in the whole hotel, electricity not working in the bathroom, empty minibar, disgusting pool water,

The people are very accommodating, the rooms were spacious the beds were comfortable. It was in The Perfect part of town to get to anything and Centro historico

I would have friends come over and we were unable to utilize my room to relax we had to stay at the pool which was 97° average daily

The bed was so comfortable! The room was spacious and the bathroom was well equipped. Beautiful pool

There wasn't much in the room, no complimentary water, the bed frame was tattered, the air con wasn't great and old, no lamp/extra light. Just felt a bit bare and tired

Location and the availability of hot water in the shower

The elevator was inconvenient, took too long and delayed many plans. The breakfast was not what we expected, and the dinner menu didn’t have many options to choose from. The key card would give us a hard time to open the door each time we went out. The pool was being serviced during the entire stay and I didn’t get prior notification of this to my reservation. The staff was ok but I will most likely not book this hotel again!

THE POOL WAS NOT THAT CLEAN, A LOT OF PEAOGEN FEATHERS... NOT A GOOD DESIGN OF THE POOL.

Clean environment. Food was tasty.

Jacuzzi tub did not work. Not a big deal.

The room was large and comfortable with a great view of the Catherdral. The restaurant had better views and the pool was fantastic. The staff were cheerful and helpful.

The Restaurant food was good but no steaks by Monday. this was our only disappointment.

ACs' at the two rooms didn't work. It was very noisyThe room didn't have a phone Pillows were old and uncomfortable.
