Hotel Be La Sierra

What I loved most about Hotel Be La Sierra was its proximity to one of the best beaches in Santa Marta, La Playa El Rodadero. I enjoyed the oceanview room I stayed in and felt it extremely convenient to walk across the street to enjoy the beach.

The thunderous music played all day and nearly all-night, every. single. day. of my stay at the hotel was somewhat expected, just not to the extent I encountered!

Breakfast was ok and so was locación

The Pool size and location I had to call room service for an iron!

Food was not very good, beds were uncomfortable, the gentleman that worked nights at front desk was very mean and rude!

Nothing beside the service

The room was not clean, the balcony Dior was broken so we heard everything it was really expensive for what we got. The breakfast sucks

Right at the beach; good breakfast in the morning; comfortable bed; close to restaurants; nice staff.

I liked it all - the beach and malecon are busy and loud but when you close the balcony door, it’s surprisingly quiet in the room. Great location for people watching from your balcony :)

The location was great, and I liked the view from my room (although a little noisy outside).

No water in the room! Everyone knows you can't drink the water in Santa Marta, so at least one bottle should have been provided. Instead, guests had to purchase very expensive water in glass bottles.Wifi didn't work in my room, only in the lobby, which was very inconvenient.

Good location

Being right on the beach was good but if you like to be able to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this location. Super loud music until 4am.

Rudeness

The front staff as rude. Offered us to go next door when we questioned the difference on price online vs at thethe site. %19 tax rate.

It shouldn't be called ocean view because you can't see it and since it's in front of the street, it's not recommended for those who want peace and not noise. I had to change rooms because my children and I couldn't sleep the first day. It shouldn't be called ocean view but rather a view of the torment of noise.

Location

Cost vs value for your money is not worth it. Too pricey for what it offers. They offer a buffet breakfast, but in reality, they tell you what to eat and how much you can it, they charge you a special price for a sea view room, but their amenities are old and not worth the price.

The room that we got had poor air ventilation, so when we went to the beach and got to the room with our clothes with sand and water, the room got the odor of our clothes

Good location, near the see. Many restaurants around. Not crowded. Nice and friendly personal. Simple but delicious breakfast.

Beach was full of trash, on weekend you could hear the music loud from outside till midnight.

Right on the beach. Good view from my room. Cool breeze from the sea.It turns out the kitchen has some really good food. I was busy trying out restaurants elsewhere in the town and I found out on the last couple of days that the hotel kitchen has some really good food.
