The Chalets Naldehra

Great property, wide open space in the mountains is a luxury. Nice forest trekking route nearby, and also the oldest Golf course in India (since 1906). The rooms are nice and with modern amenities, wood finish interiors. Clean bathroom.Very courteous and helpful staff, impeccable and clean.

Buffet breakfast could have been better.

Food needs a major improvement specially buffet breakfast they offer is not even of 2 star standard. Not many options , moreover not good quality of stuff used . Breads and bakery were pathetic. Not at all worth it.

My husband and I spent Christmas here, and had such a wonderful time. The staff were so attentive and helpful - they really went above and beyond for us. We were given a free room upgrade, which was a lovely Christmas present! The food was great, and we enjoyed the bonfire evenings as well. The location is exceptional, with some great forest walks nearby and amazing views. All in all, we really had a perfect stay! Thank you for everything :)

The breakfast was excellent. The variety of meals and the quality of tea and coffee was at par with the best of coffee shops. Certainly, the best way to start a day while on vacation is to get a sumptuous and tasty meal and Chalets Naldehra did not disappoint.

I can't think of anything that could be improved. We had a minor ant problem in our room and the staff resolved it very quickly and efficiently.

The ambience, the room with valley view, private garden sit out and the solar heated pool.

The food was average.

As I have come in the rainy season the property is covered with a lot of trees. There are a lot of spiders due to moistness, real big ones.

it had a tiny living area in the room where the was a cokroach and they dumped waste outside the villas and the stench was ugly. wouldnt stay in room 201 ever!

Overall Experience Was Good. The location is super awesome. Dinner was way too tasty.

View from normal rooms is not as good as expected since they haven't cut the plants inside the property, which obstruct the view.

They made it extremely comfortable for us. The food was great, very good staff and the golf course is right next door. Perfect weather in November.

The hotel is nice, well done & staff very polite . How ever i am very unhappy . booked yr hotel for two reasons ,1. You stated indoor swiming pool indicated heated water. Since I was going to play golf , I thought my friend can swim & use the spa.2. U stated Mini golf. I thought I can warm up or practice .Both these facilities do not exist.U r staff mentions the golf facility which is public and has nothing to do wit yr hotel. The pool is unusable in this weather . Even the masseur of yr spa is called from outside .I was getting good hotels at half the price.Two things have to be done. Pl check the claims on facilities . I expect that from booking.com2nd refund me half the money . I feel cheated, and I want the hotel to feel the pinch .

the location, the cottage, the food, hospitality, You name it and chalet excelled in all. I stayed just for a day and already planning to go back soon. Not to miss, Monsoon just added to the beauty of this amazing property

I booked The Chalets for 3 nights from 16thJune- 19th june, after reading the good reviews at booking.com about the property. But I was disappointed with the way things are presented online & pictures don't do the justice with the hard earned money you have spend on the hotel room . I paid 12k per night for appartment thinking that their deluxe room will be very small & opted for 1 bedroom appartment. To my surprise it had stairs to go up to the bedroom upstairs & for using washroom you have to come down, outside it in the room was a sofa & a small dinning table. It was not mentioned on booking.com & even on hotel's website that the appartment will have stairs , room size mentioned was 33 m. sq.I was not well when I reached chalets so was not in a mood to say anything & just accepted the keys for stay. On 1st night there were two big spiders ( found in jungle areas only ) above my bed with a spiderweb above the almirah. Had to call the housekeeping in midnight as my daughter got scared & started crying & couldn't sleep the whole night. The room 103 had no privacy as if you remove the front curtain the guest sitting at there so called revolving restaurant ( not working during my stay) would peep into your room. Some guest were sitting there & we could see each other very well as I was lying on my bed unwell on the 1st day. The right side view was roof of their main breakfast restaurant & the left side view was broken dishantenna with clothes. This was real room view description against the mentioned description of mountain view & garden view with patio, mind you there was no patio outside the room.There so called temprature controlled swimming pool was not heated and was very dirty. The children pool was clean but many tiles were coming off. When I told the lady to clean the adult pool she bluntly said on my face that it was cleaned in the morning.

What they booked and offered. I had to show them what I booked and still they didn't have that available And I had to change rooms three times and three days.

Staff was very courteous and always smiling.

Rooms needs repairs & upgradation. Menu needs to be upgraded. Quality of food served also needs improvement. Bathrooms need to be updated.
