    • Breakfast was outstanding, staff was very friendly and helpful, on-site concerts and crafts were amazing, parking was great.
    • Best location breakfast staff very well served me
    • Dirty, dated and so over priced. Also had two police officers located down the corridor blasting there phones youtube all night.

    Cons -

    • We ordered a King room but instead got a bed made of 2 single beds pushed together. Washing machines were broken, very costly and no laundry detergent available.Everything else was absolutely wonderful.
    • Beds very poor sheets poor furniture dirty walls dirty! Very poor room
    • The place was filthy, dirty, dated and so over priced. Also had two police officers located down the corridor blasting there phones youtube all night. Did not even sleep in the bed or use the pillows, given there was hair from the last occupant throughout.Avoid this place at all costs!!

I had an ocean view and breakfast was very good

Not much to do in town

    location

noisy at night, seemed to be obsessed with floor cleaning at 4am. restaurant limited choices and poor value, drinks over priced, breakfast lacks variety

The room was perfect me and my Grandmother, the buffet breakfast was consistently amazing and the Staff were amazing, especially Elvis and Saul. We also enjoyed all the meals and specials put on by the restaurant

Everything was amazing but the staff were just perfect. Please make sure they know that and look after them!

The staff and the food was on point ???? this is why I would come back to Tanoa. The food is organic and grown in their gardens we loved our breakfast every morning.

There were some flaws in the disability bathroom. Every time you took a shower the whole bathroom is flooded. This is due to bathroom floors that have insufficient drainage slope, we had to use towels (a significant amount) to stop the flooding.

Room was comfortable enough, air-conditioning was not operating at its best.

Breakfast was very poor quality and little option - the food in general at this hotel was exorbitant in price -

Having a pool was a bonus but it did get busy with swimming pool lessons?!Breakfast great!Staff lovely especially in dining room and reception staff helpful

Some smells and dubious manhole covers at the back of the property looked gross

The location of this hotel is excellent, situated right on the northern coastline with a spacious public swimming pool.

However, our stay was significantly impacted by noise issues. We stayed in rooms 1204 and 1206 for three nights and four days, and there was loud noise every day. It seemed like the hotel was undergoing renovations, and there was also construction happening in the adjacent outdoor parking area, which greatly affected our experience. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was quite outdated and struggled to cool the space effectively. Another unexpected aspect was the hotel’s swimming pool—every afternoon, a group of children appeared to be undergoing swim training, with a coach using a whistle to lead the session. This felt quite odd for a hotel setting, making us, as guests, feel rather uncomfortable.

Ateca and Cassandra and the housekeeping managers looked after me very well.

Well located, clean and convenient. Awesome staff always available to assist you.

The bedroom mattress would welcome a replacement.

    Walking distance to work

Breakfast buffet very basic. Could offer to get pastries from nearby Cowley Bakery to improve on the offerings. Twice forgot my rooms bottled water.

Clearly the best hotel in Tongatapu; very nice staff, perfectly located for work.

    location

lift has mould smell. They need to attend the maintenance and stop leak to the lift shaft

    8PaulinePosted on: 1-18-2025

The staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Elvis who we watch work tirelessly from morning to late and Feli for greeting us with great service on our first night.Location is close to town

There was only western food on the menu and at breakfast. I would have liked to see more local foods available. Sipi lu, roast pork, taro, ota, sapasui, topai, fresh local seafood and Otai.

    8AnaPosted on: 1-17-2025

The staff were great and the property was clean.

If it going to charge at an expensive rate it needed a good quality aircon, the room we had the aircon wasn’t strong enough.

    7LizPosted on: 1-6-2025

Great service from the friendly staff during breakfast and at the pool restaurant.

Lack of towels for kids to use if they went for a swim. The pools were filled by a lot of local kids - so towels were never available. We pay for the use of the facilities but the towels in our rooms were collected every morning at 9am and returned at 3pm. Alot of the public were also eating at the restaurants during Christmas Day and New Years Day - leaving guests to wait for a long time for food.

    6MichaelPosted on: 1-6-2025

    Overpriced for what it is

Very busy pool, very expensive bar restaurant prices

    7SusanaPosted on: 12-29-2024

    Friendly staff, location, buffet breakfast.

The lack of bathroom amenities available in the room, the menu for the bar and restaurant needs new additions and definitely overpriced.
