Loved this little gem. Quiet village, walk to the beach. Nice pool. Comfortable bed. Clean! A little bit of a hard area if you are vegetarian or vegan. Great snorkeling at Crystal Bay, save your money on the snorkel trips and just swim out from the beach.

Great location 5 minutes walk to Crystal Bay. Incredibly clean and refreshing pool and the sweetest local street.

Rooms need some maintenance

The rooms are clean and the AC blows cold. The pool is nice. It's very quiet and a short walk to the beach

It's remote away from any other areas. You need a taxi as the roads are too dangerous to safely walk. The food selection is very small and the food is not very good. There are no other food places currently open so you're stuck eating what they serve or you need to taxi elsewhere. The beach is very run down and dirty with very expensive vendors serving food and drinks from sketchy looking huts.

Breakfast was just average

It is a 10 min walk to the crystal beach. If you want to cool down in the sea water, it's pretty close. The view inside the hotel is really pretty. The American breakfast is good for an undeveloped island.

The staff don't really speak good English. Not the most helpful when asking for information. Wifi is really bad there, really slow.

Good value for money. The bungalow was neat and spacious with very comfortable beds. Accomodation is within walking distance of Crystal Beach (15 min.).

The location was too remote for our liking. Not many restaurants within walking distance. We rented a scooter to visit other locations. Food was basic, ok but not very special.

We had a good stay at this resort, which consists of charming isolated cottages. The atmosphere was peaceful and the pool elegant and comfortable, a great place to relax.Our room and bathroom were both very spacious, providing plenty of comfort during our stay.The resort’s location is just a short walk from Crystal Bay and Pandan Beach, both great for snorkeling and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

The room lacked a piece of furniture to store our clothes, which was a bit inconvenient. One of the towels provided was quite worn out, and we requested a replacement. Additionally, the towel rack in the bathroom was unstable, making it unusable.The resort's restaurant wasn’t the best. After our first evening, we chose to dine at other nearby restaurants. We also had breakfast included in our stay and requested a vegetarian option, but both times they included ham in the toast, which was a little disappointing.

The staff were very patient and accommodating to us, they helped us get taxis and go snorkelling which was really nice.

It was a bit more out of the way than we expected

The outside of this property was well maintained and pretty. The pool was lovely. It was very quiet.

Food wasn’t great. It didn’t seem fresh. There were a few other restaurants around but the menus were the same. The kitchen areas seemed dirty. The staff sat on the ground which was dirty. A lot of drinks weren’t available. It just felt like hygiene, food variety and quality and vibrancy were really lacking. Towels were old and thin. Rooms/bathrooms needed a good paint and repair. Maybe the lack of occupants due to the rainy season contributed?

Room and property were beautiful with the perfect vibe for a stay in Nusa Penida. Pool is perfect, very inviting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a made to order menu, pancakes were very good. Restaurant itself is okay but not many options.

Toilet wasn’t flushing when we checked in but staff were very helpful and changed our room for us. Location is beautiful yet far from many main attractions which means beautiful but long scooter rides around the island

The accommodation is in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by greenery—very beautiful. The staff was friendly.It’s a 10-minute walk to Crystal Bay. If you don’t ride a motorbike, you’ll need a driver. My daughter and I had a great driver, and we felt very safe with him. He knows every corner of the island and is the most affordable option, as transportation on Nusa Penida can be overpriced.Wirna Taxi: +62 812-4678-7632Breakfasts are okay.

•The bed linens weren’t changed for 3 nights; they just made the bed.•Towels were replaced every two days, but they didn’t take the used ones from the bathroom—they just left the clean ones on the bed, and they were stained.•The ashtray on the terrace wasn’t emptied throughout our stay.•The lunch/dinner options weren’t great—it’s better to eat elsewhere.I recommend Amarta Penida, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset during dinner.

Overall good value for money , good breakfast (except for the fruit juice) and very nice staff

Nice for a 3*accomodation. Good to stay for somedays. Driver Firman was very nice, brought us everywhere. Visit Kima Bay Restaurant & Bar. Nice view and good food.

Ask the staff for an extra clean. It is a 3* bathroom.

The location we were not crazy about. Not much choices for dining and the food was average.

Not recommended

The scooters they rent are in very poor conditions. We rented one the night we arrived, for 150k to go out and have dinner. The scooter didn’t have breaks nor the support little thing where the passenger puts the feet. When we asked to switch to another one, the only thing they offered was a smaller scooter (worth 100k but no difference refund) with had no license plate and no left mirror, and we could barely fit on it. The next morning we decided to return the scooter (even tho it was already paid for the full day) and go to the harbor where we could rent another one to be able to stick to our plans and visit the island (this whole thing made us lose many precious hours as we wanted to avoid the strong sun and the crowds). So when we saw our neighbors (guests of the same hotel) getting ready to go to the harbor by taxi we asked to share the ride so we could rent another scooter, but the driver and hotel staff didn’t allow us to go with them, for reasons unknown as the lady that was speaking to us just walked away in the middle of the conversation. So we were left with no other option than take one of their faulty scooters to the other rental place. (We tried other hotels around but they only rented to guests). That sucked, considered that the accommodation is quite in a remote area and there are no other ways to move around. We decided then to switch from the big scooter with no breaks, to the small one without plates and mirrors for our own safety (there are a lot of steep roads) and they tried to charge us for another day x this scooter (when in fact this was a simple swap and the day was already paid, or better, overpaid).Overall we didn’t have a good experience with the staff, specially with this lady working at the reception and in the kitchen as well (she seems the manager) which was not polite under different circumstances as well.Also pickup and drop off from the harbor at check in and check out weren’t smooth at all.
