    Pros +

    • The room had a huge ceiling and was quite dark. The mosquito net was a bonus. We had an outdoor shower attached to our room which was a fun experience. Others had internal showers however needing to use stairs in the bathroom from the door. May be of concern if someone was wet and slipped or feel down the stairs in the night when accessing the bathroom. The view of the cliff was great and quite memorizing - when calm and rough. The owners were friendly and some remembered you by name. Zelda, the resident dog was super friendly and help those in the group with some comfort therapy. Having food cooked on site is a bonus and very convenient as you are not close to a variety of dining places. The breakfast was great and all that you would need. There are a couple of small markets near by for water and a little further away more food.Getting around from this location isn't easy. Ideally a scooter is the best option. There is only so far you can walk however ideally a truck is better for a large group though it is expensive so it limited how often we explored.
    • Pros:The location is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. One standout feature is the outdoor bathroom, it's exposed to the sun, which is a real bonus given the island's humid climate. It's a great spot to air out your swimwear and laundry, letting them get a natural sun-kissed drying. The property boasts two lovely pools and a beautifully landscaped yard that really adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The cottage itself is spacious with high ceilings, making it feel even more open and airy. Its proximity to the cliffside is another major perk. There's a swing at the cliffside bar where you can sit, unwind, and enjoy the dramatic sight and sound of waves crashing against the rocks below, perfect for a chill moment.
    • 3 nice pools, large rooms, large beds, quiet, breakfast with ocean views. Great value for money.

    Cons -

    • Overall it felt like it was at a nice tropical caravan park, rather than a swanky hotel which suited our needs and budget. Some maintenance could be improved; such as the deck chairs by the pool cleaned more regularly, weeding in the cement areas or garden bed could be looked in to, rather than sweeping leaves daily. To access the hotel by truck was a very bumpy road the last 100m or so.
    • Cons:Bites: I did notice a few red bug bites after the second night of my stay (on my arm, neck, and even my face), though they weren’t anything serious, no itching or discomfort, just a little red dots. As of writing this a week later, the marks are already fading, and I feel completely fine. Island-Specific Tip: When visiting this island, it’s crucial to travel light. The roads are undeveloped, and many cottages are up sloped paths or stairs, making heavy luggage a real challenge. If you can, avoid rolling luggage and stick to something more manageable.Room Key: The room key is unnecessarily large, it's basically a wooden block. While it's a quirky design, it makes it less convenient to take it with you. I really wish they had gone with something smaller and more practical.
    • As usual, with Bali, cleanliness standards are not same as in the west.

Grounds were well kept and pools were amazing. Staff were always available to assist with anything we needed, and the restaurant was nice and close with a great view and wonderful food/drinks.

Bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped for and was very squeaky when your rolled over which made getting a full night sleep difficult.

We stayed 4 nights at Sunset Villa Lembongan and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet spot with breathtaking views, yet close enough to explore everything on the island with ease. The villa itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after every detail with genuine warmth and hospitality. Communication was smooth and effortless, and we felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived.Sunset Villa really lived up to its name – the evening views were unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip.Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Nusa Lembongan. We will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed the location and the beautiful view from the roof terrace. Blacky and his staff are all very helpful and friendly.

It could be cleaner in the cottages, it feels like everything is a bit old and not very clean. The pools are clean and nice.

Amazing property, loved the outdoor bathroom and the space. The view for brekky was next level.

We loved everything about our stay here. The staff are amazing, our villa was very comfortable & a/c in the bedroom was perfect & 3 pools to choose from.

The sunset bar was cool looking over the ocean. we loved to play the pool as well.variety of swimming pools at the property. Breakfast was pretty good loved the pineapple pancakes .

the pools were very soupy warm I guess the heat during the day doesn't help. needed to be cooler to cool us down :) .the showers in the room were dated and the water didn't drain away without pooling the whole bathroom. definitely needs new shower heads.

Beautiful sunset view over the sea. Good breakfast. We slept very well in the rooms with the airconditioning. 2 swimming pools.

Smelly bathroom, was not nice to use. Also we did not get any information when we arrived. The rooms were not cleaned daily, you would have to ask for this service. I would not expect this from a 3-star hotel.

    10LanaPosted on: 9-25-2024

Spectacular views, scenery and cute and spacious accommodation. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Would stay again.

    7MarcelPosted on: 9-6-2024

Very friendly and cool staff. 3 pools for swimming and amazing views of the ocean and sunset.

The rooms were a little run down and the beach it was near to was amazingly beautiful but too dangerous for swimming.

    5KyliePosted on: 9-2-2024

Beds and pillows were very comfortable Outdoor Bathroom was clean and the Pools were clean and amazing. Meals were very nice. Pizza was very tasty ? Basic breakfast but good.

I would question whether the floors were cleaned before arriving as we all had black feet after walking around inside for a hour. Rooms were not cleaned daily. We had 4 rooms and all ran out of toilet roll and had to find staff to ask for more. My room had no towels at all. Very understaffed. Lawns were very long and untidy.

Stayed for 2 weeks. Perfect location with brekky included. Restaurant & bar overlooks the ocean. Relaxed vibe but attentive staff. Beautiful 30 metre lap pool plus 2 other pools. We will definitely be back!

Great location and friendly staff. Cold drinks. Shade sail over pool was great also.
