Dialoog Banyuwangi

Everything in this hotel is well thought out. The attention from the beginning cannot be compared to any other hotels we’ve stayed during our month long trip in Indonesia. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We tried the batik workshop and felt deeply grateful for the kindness the experts extended to us sharing their traditions. The massages were also worth booking. We had a very pleasant stay. The food was also delicious! We were worried it wasn’t going to be given the city and that it’s still not touristy yet we were greatly surprised! Thank you so much !!

It may not be about the hotel per se but perhaps culturally, it is common that the service staff in the restaurant when you order out of the menu are not proactive in always looking if a table is calling them for assistance. This is, of course, a personal preference. We would only suggest perhaps reinforcing the pro activity to look out for any raised hands. In addition to this, we thought we could access the beach but it’s in poor condition, with garbage and plastics around. We understand it may be the condition of it in the city.

I stayed in Dialoog more than 5 times, I always chose this hotel everytime I visit Banyuwangi or Ijen for work or personal trip. The location is fantastic. You overlook the mountain which to me, looks like a giant painting. Staffs are super friendly especially the restaurant staffs. Lots of coconut trees under which I lie down and enjoy the sun reading book or just a sip of drinks or just coconut water. The swimming pool? Its the best. Overlooking ocean and the mountain. Constant sound of waves is just soothing and soporific. Absolutely love this hotel and will keep coming back

The property was clean and comfortable

The bedroom sizeIs too small

Very attentive staff.Good modern spacious rooms.Nice view.

I had a fantastic stay at Dialoog Hotel! The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated Miko, the Front Office Manager, for his outstanding assistance. He went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The rest of the staff were equally welcoming and professional. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing, all perfect.

Location & Staff

Pricey Room-Rate

Very nice scenery and view. We got a free room upgrade. Thanks! We had a nice welcome chat with several staff members. All of them were able to talk English.

The breakfast was outside. When the sun is shining it was very hot in the breakfast area. The ceiling fans were not working. The second day the staff turned on a Dyson fan. That was convenient.

The place, the building design is simple but elegant at the same time, the main lobby is open-designed so you can see the gorgeous beach view from the lobby

So many bugs, quite annoying for expensive hotel like dialoog

It is a really beautiful hotel. The garden is really nice with coconut tree and green grass where we can walk, sit or run around. The view to the beach is also really beautiful, although the beach itself is dirty.

The amenities in the room is so minimal. No fridge or chiller, unless you do special request. Little bit of storage. No safe deposit. The room size is also a bit too packed.

We liked everything and on the top the staff was very kind to us

The only thing that surprised us is the mosque that is very close to the hotel and depending where you are in the hotel you can be awakened by the prayers at 4am in the morning. But this is a very small inconvenience compared with all what the hotel can offer.

cozy and good environment

i encountered somebugs in my room the first night but when i told the staff they took care of it

Beautiful hotel grounds, lovely swimming pool, restaurant served delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Very peaceful and relaxing ambience. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Bali massage at the spa. We would definitely stay again if we return to Banyuwangi!

Sinks in rooms

Location and food

Couldn’t manage rush traffic at restaurant during peak season . Food came too late . Breakfast can be little better .

The view is fantastic, the room is cleanStaff is helpfull

Taste of the food need to improve, including the variety

Love the sea-view, the ambience, the room. All is worth the money. 1 night stay won't be enough.

When breakfast, the juices are kept behind the table bar. So we have to ask the waiter to get us the juice...

If was a wonderful experience staying at Dialoog with super friendly and attentive staffs at all time. There were a variety of both international and Indonesian food and drinks served at the hotel restaurant and they all taste delicious!

Nothing! Everything was good

All providing serene ambient, breathtaking view from direct to ocean room view 5th floor

There was not much outdoor activity (tennis court, etc)

Staff went out of their way to help and spoke good English.Breakfast was wonderful, with special thanks to the lady who cooked our eggs perfectly.Bed was comfortable, shower was good. WiFi fine, pool great

Little things, no good makeup light or mirror. Loo seat plastic, door to wc heavy.

Beautiful garden, very good facilities and complete breakfast.
