ILLIRA Hotel Banyuwangi

Excellent hotel. Great location. Staff are friendly and helpful.Great views, and the rooftop lounge/bar/restaurant is delightful. Views of Bali from the pool. Views of everywhere from the rooftop!Quality of the rooms are excellent. A short taxi ride to both Banyuwangi centre, and the port.

Breakfast buffet is lack of varieties of food, not tasty at all.

We stayed two nights at Illira Hotel Banyuwangi. It’s a big hotel with great potential. The interieur of our room was nice. There are many options at the buffet breakfast. The swimming pool has a good size and a beautiful view at Bali.Because we had to check out early and missed breakfast time, we got a breakfast package to take with us. This was very kind.

The staff is friendly and caring, but all could use some guidance in hospitality and efficiency.The smell in the building and in our room is unhealthy intoxicating. There is some aggressive cleaning agent used with a very strong and unpleasant perfume. When we were in our room we had the door to the balcony opened as much as possible.The water of the swimming pool could be a bit cleaner.

No direct elevator to basement, but if you're from basement you can go to any floor with the elevator.

The location is good and near to the meeting place and/or office that I visited during the business trip. The parking lot is huge, and the staffs are kind and fast response. Definitely will stay again in this hotel on the next business trip to Banyuwangi, East Java. Well done!

There are smoking and not smoking rooms. But they wash all bedsheets together, so every bed smells terrible smoky like an ashtray

Great hotel. Nice pool with pool deck bar/restaurant. Wondaful views from the rooftop restaurant. The staff were very helpful in setting up a last minute trip to the Ijen crater. Large and comfortable room

A little far from town if you want to explore it. Cabs were easy to get, though, and like everywhere in Java, inexpensive. We came from the ferry, and tried to take a Grab car, but the "red zone" around the ferry meant that we had to walk a long way before getting to a spot where the driver could pick us up. If you come that way, best to bite the bullet and negotiate a fare with the taxi mafia at the port.

The size of the room is quite big and very clean. The bed is very comfort and the bathroom very clean. The breakfast is one of the best in this price class. Very recommended.

The breakfast was extensive. The front office staff and concierge are really friendly and hospitable. The show a lot of interest and will help you with everything! The pool is nice with a beautiful view. It is a good place to stay when you come from the boat.

The cleaning in the room could have been better. The hotel is located in a very noisy area, so you will wake up early in the morning due to the noise. That was really unfortunate. The rooftop bar could really improve. The food is not good, no taste and had to wait very long. The staff there could also learn more about being more hospitable to the guests.

Large comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Friendly helpful staff. Visited the rooftop bar for a drink before heading down to the restaurant on 3rd floor for a late snack - open 24hrs a day. Again lovely staff.On our departure, Reception organised a taxi for us

Excellent hotel with great and very friendly service! Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a big variety of food and drinks. Spectacular sky lounge with it‘s style and view.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. You have buffet breakfast with a lot of choices - everything was tasty. Quick drive to the port.
