Tannum Sands Hotel / Motel

Nice little town, close to beach, pub/restaurants/shops in a walking distance, all needed amenities provided including microwave, high speed Wi-Fi, Parking in front of room, easy checkout

Would be great if the TV's are upgraded to smart TV's

Good overnight stop nice food and comfortable room

Nice room everything you need small continental breakfast to get you on your way and restaurant next door and close to shops and nice outlook

I have stayed a few times here when I need a little time to myself. l love sitting outside looking at the ocean views. Although I have asked for a particular room number on the last 2 occasions & have been granted this via email from bookings.com, I have not been given that room.Otherwise, I have been very satisfied & will continue to stay at Tannum Sands hotel/motel when I need a little time to myself. The meals are amazing

Asking for a particular room number , booking in advance being sent an email confirmation from bookings.com granting my special request , arriving & the request not honoured.

It was extremely noisy with the entrance to the drive thru bottle shop near the front door to the rooms. Once the pub shut the patrons who stayed in the motel rooms partied on all through the night with loud music, drugs, alcohol and prostitutes arriving at ungodly hours. Not a place I’d recommend to anyone especially families with young kids.

Convenient as close to family Close to supermarkets and takeaway food also attached to hotel so good for meals We find it quite quiet too

Only grievance was the pillows Only one was of a comfortable height all the others were very flat like a child's pillow

From the street it just looks like the pub and restaurant, it wasn't obvious that it was the accommodation I was trying to find.

Stayed to visit family so location perfect and hotel facilities perfect to have a meal and drink Only grievance was the pillows all bar one were way too low more like a child's pillow so not good for sleeping unless you doubled up or folded them over then a bit too high This was the case in both rooms

Run down, water damage evident, not much maintenance. Aircons not too cool, glad it wasn't super hot

Location was perfect room was infested small ants coming out of crack in ceiling and infestedour breadroll had gotten Tea they were in shower in basin not good perhaps whomever cleans property needthorough inspection or pest control regularly

Ants everywhere on our towels aswell went shower

Happy helpful staff, great food in the Bistro, easy walk to the shops if needed. Easy to find if you are driving in the Bruce Highway

Easy check in. Clean and tidy room. Great location with beer garden and kids playground. Friendly staff

Did not see in the booking it had a bottle O attached right beside the rooms so all night it just constant noise and light. The shower head barely worked and the shower took 10 minutes to heat up and when you even slightly turned it cold it would be freezing. The blue blankets/ bed cover had all types of stains on it.

we stayed on Saturday night in a room a fair way from the hotel and it was exceptionally quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and firm.

the small opaque window next to the door allowed too much light in from outside - needs a small curtain there.

Only a double and single bed in rooms

We have stayed many times and always will when in the region. Very comfortable and clean accomodation, not far off the highway.

Pillows very thin, even with two.

Reasonable prices.Clean. Light breakfast was supplied, cerial.

Comfortable chair to sit to watch tv

Good location with all amenities that you’d wish for given the purpose. Staff were pleasant and food was good quality. Stayed with you many times and will do so again and again.

No shortcomings to call out.
