Discovery Parks - Tannum Sands

Loved the location, the rainbow lorikeets, the proximity to the beach and beach restaurant/bar, washer/dryer, facility was well run and kept.

It was all good! Wish we could have checked in early but not expected, really.

Location close to beach next to nature. Quite and superb location. Great atmosphere.

Bathroom outside unit.- not nice, Shower had mould.

How it felt like one huge community. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure your stay was pleasant and easy. The children loved having things to do within the complex too.

Maybe reception opening an hour earlier in order for children to hire equipment earlier. Have maps in rooms, I found some of the parks facilities towards the end of our stay that would have been handy to know, like the laundromat!

The location great but that was all!

The cabin was in need of renovations The shower small & water system weak & noisy The midgees were horrendous- we will not return The cabin definitely not worth the exuberant price over Easter!

Such a beautiful stay! I felt so safe being in this discovery park, so close to the beach and such good facilities to wind down and really relax! Very clean and defiantly worth the money.

Nicely located and quiet. There was a good amount of coffee/tea/milk and the accommodation was clean.Good sized bathroom and shower.

The bunk beds were badly located and quite short for adults. A couple of the lights didn’t work - and the bunk beds didn’t have bedside tables or lights. But - good value for money.

Single bed in main lounge room ( cabin accom) was a little weird ( height and mattress ) but would be definitely ok for kids.

Great friendly staff , they accomodated us when we wanted to check in early, nothing was a problem

The tv didn't get hd channels and only had a few channels to choose from while settling down for bed

The cabins did have everything we need in them. Toiletries and cooking supplies etc. lots of towels and sheets too. Great air con and fan.

Very old run down cabin with rattling awnings and light switches that blinks. Bad dripping tap. Shower didn’t have any pressure. The pool closed at 5pm!!! No sign of any staff before 9am or after 4pm.

Room was not clean. Floors and shower were covered in sand. Bathroom light not working.

Walk to beach. Very quiet in the night time.Very comfortable beds.

Shower needs a overhaul. Something stuck on shower floor? Shower head fixed not removable.

The cabins were clean and maintained. The staff were helpful and attentive. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels provided were cleaned and in good condition.

Location nice quiet spot plenty of room to park car boat and trailer. Easily comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teens

Good location. The kids loved the jumpy pillow and the peacocks/ peahens

Unfortunately we lost water supply due to unforeseen issues with a burst pipe. The entire site was without water for night time shower. Staff worked hard to fix it.
