It was ideal location for what we were doing

Great location

Poorly maintained old property. The toilet has no exhaust fan and the window cannot be opened as it opens to the walking path adjacent leaving no privacy. Tap of the sink has a leak. Although it says ocean front, you really can’t see the sea.

Perfect location for our trip to Keppel the following day, had a lovely meal at the restaurant and apartment was cleanand inviting with a fantastic view.

Beaches restaurant next door is fab.

Tired.Uncomfortable bed

Check in was difficult. They didn’t answer their phone. Instructions were not as stated.

8/5/25 1 night $176 Room 15Motel is in a good position directly across the road from the beach and the grounds are lovely. Not much else around.Room 15 is a middle floor room. No matter which floor you are on rooms are accessed by stairs, no lift. Middle floor is only a small flight, 8 stairs.We have a 2 villa room and the only reason we picked this one was that this room was $20 less than the room that sleeps 2, go figure.At first glance it looks good. Plenty of space, table with 4 chairs, lounge, plenty of room to move around. There is a frypan to cook with as well as a microwave.Being across from the beach the Louvre windows allow a cyclonic amount of breeze to come through. There are no screens on them so they need to be closed all sorts of bugs fly in.Im guessing the apartment above us didn’t have carpet under the dining table so every time they dragged a chair along the floor it echoed bellow. The same thing happened when they walked on the floors.The bathroom is definitely in need of some TLC. Broken towel rail, paint peeled off and no exhaust fan. Bedside table in 2nd room has paint chipped off it. Some of the old fashioned flouro lights don’t work as well as the dimmer on the down lights.Foxtel was advertised but you couldn’t get any channels the message kept saying program not available. There is a casting screen to screen your own apps but didn’t test it out to see if it worked.The photos always make it look so good. Definitely no better than a 3 star rating.

Any Foxtel channel an error message came up and it couldn’t be played.

The location was nice

The room had multiple issues from noisy bed to noisy toilet (water pipes). The photos implies there was an oven in the kitchenette but there was only a hot plate and microwave. The curtains fell off the tracks when pulled closed. There was nowhere to put your toilet bag on in the bathroom. The staff were a little rude. On check in When discussed about the request for a king bed and how we didn’t get one she said is it a deal breaker for us not having what we requested. We stayed in a prestige one bedroom unit. Nothing about the unit was prestige except the price charged.

Location was amazing, walking distance to the beach. Restaurant had amazing meals, best we had on our short holiday. Room was fantastic, kitchen fully stocked so we could do meals of our own which was great. Short walk to the yacht club for drinks and the views there were great. Staff were very friendly.

Apartment needed more warmth in the decor… .. like a rug

The pictures on Booking had nothing to do with the room at all. Furniture from the 80s, water damage with dangerous splinters, so that I could not let our toddler play freely. There was no response from the hotel when asked. Not worth the money. Hands off.

My friend and I only stayed for one night, but Sarah, the lady working was so lovely. She upgraded our stay without any extra costs so we could get a sea view! She also allowed us to have 2 car spots as there were leftover spots! The service was amazing and she was a very kind lady. Would definitely stay again if passing through

The resort is beautiful, well kept and clean with good facilities. It is great being so close to a lovely beach and the staff were very friendly. The beds were too hard and uncomfortable though. The check in and check out processes were super quick and efficient!

Had to book an extended stay here as I was unable to get into the Outback because of the flooding. The better rooms were unavailable so I had a room on the ground floor. Adequate for my needs.

The TV kept freezing or cutting out completely. Also the shower had a needle spray head which really does need upgrading.
