Owners very friendly & room clean & inviting very roomy

A beautifully renovated, spacious, and clean room with an excellent ensuite and private courtyard. Lots of options to have your own space when you need it. The hosts were very helpful and suggested places to visit. The motel is in walking distance to the supermarket, takeaway, IGA and ferry to Yamba, and a short drive to beautiful beaches and forests.

I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts are great and exceptional with communication. Very clean and well taken care of property.

Great for a one night stopover. Staff at reception very nice. Bottle of wine in the room - nice touch. Good laundry facilities. Local hotel/club was very good.

Outdated, refurbishment needed. Sockets were in the wrong places so extension leads were used.

The location is really nice. We were able to park right on-site, and they have a fantastic BBQ area. The room came with a huge balcony that offered a pretty decent view. Even when we were on the lower floor, we didn't hear our neighbors upstairs or next door, which was great!.

When we arrived, there was no one at the office — just an intercom. A man answered, asked for my name, and said, "Your key’s already in the room, the door’s open." No ID, no credit card, no security at all. Anyone could have walked in and picked up the key — not exactly reassuring.Inside, the first thing we noticed was a sign warning that if we didn’t wash our own dishes after cooking, we’d be charged a $25 cleaning fee.For $175 a night, you expect better treatment than being threatened with extra charges for basic service. Honestly, the room felt more like it should have been priced around $145.Dining out didn’t help the experience either — three plain burgers (no sides, no drinks) next door cost almost $60.Iluka is a lovely little town, but at these prices, it’s easy to see why tourists might think twice before coming back.

We made a last minute booking on our drive down from Brisbane and we were extremely happy with our stay. The room was spacious, clean and newly renovated. Beds were comfy. Location was great and staff were fantastic. Such a warm, friendly welcome and plenty of tips given that made our short stay more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you thank you thank you.

It was a lovely clean motel. It's a cute little town with great places to eat or have a drink. We will stop there again.

Renovated rooms, small peaceful village, easy to walk around. Owners/manager very friendly welcoming us to their village.

Everything about the accommodation and the village was wonderful.

Large comfortable room in good condition

It was in pretty good condition considering its age, bathroom could do with a little work, however the rooms will be undergoing renovations in the near future.

Made to feel welcome when we arrived. Easy check-in. The family room was newly refurbished on the top floor. Very clean. Mini kitchen, we didn't use it but had everything you needed. Bathroom nice and shower good. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was a little old and a little noisy but worked ok. Fans in both rooms. So kept it cool. They have a fully equipped camp kitchen with BBQ,fridge, air fryer, kettle, and toaster.

Beds were comfortable. Had a full size fridge and freezer. Had private balcony at back. Great location to shops and river. Owners friendly and gave advice on where to eat. Had a separate bedroom.

Bathroom could do with upgrade but was ok. Couldn't see television from bed but had a two seater lounge to sit on.

Lovely location, walk to rainforest, places to eat and the water. Friendly staff. Good value.

The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The motel is close to the local club and take away restaurant.

There was a bit of confusion at check in but it was easily resolved.

A really comfortable bed in a large clean room with good A/C. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again. It is very handy to the main street although we happened to pick a Monday night when the pub was closed and the club weren't serving meals so we made do with provisions from IGA and had a knock up meal in our room which was fine. The Motel seems to be in the middle of renovations but we were not bothered by any work going on. You can see a lot of effort going in to make this motel really presentable.

Great spot wuth excellent camp kitchen facilities. Our huge room with lounge, kitchen, dining, bedroom and outdoor area was very comfortable. Would recommend staying here.
