- I had a private room: Super clean. Bed was super comfortable. Overall room and bathroom size good for 1 person. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Location is great in the centre of Byron town 2 mins from the beach.

Cons -
- A little noisy at night
- Nothing, it was great from a private room standpoint. Just expensive but I was staying around Christmas so it’s to be expected
- The bathrooms were very dirty and the music was very loud.

Location, staff, the kitchen facilities and communal area.
The bathrooms were very dirty and the music was very loud.
The location is in the middle of everything and close to the beach. Kitchen is big and clean. The sauna and ice bath are fun. Staffs are friendly.
The bathroom and toilet get crowded sometimes.
Incredible location, very nice and spacious rooms, en suite bathroom, very clean and organized, huge kitchen space, friendly staff and many activities everyday for the guests. Perfect hostel :)
It had all that I needed in the room, was central to the beach and restaurants and Aldi.
No fridge in the room and the pillows could have had cover protectors on them because they were stained, glad I brought my own pillow! Oh and the lift was out of service so being on the top floor it was hard with luggage.
Lovely staff and great location
Wish the curtains on the beds went all the way around.
Very nice hostel - clean and bright and quiet. Our private room was very nice. The upstairs bar/lounge and the downstairs lounge areas were both clean and bright and well-decorated, and the kitchen was really nice, too. Much nicer than many hostels, extremely close to the beach, and smack in the middle of the adorable town. Would stay there again.
I recently stayed here and overall had a good experience. The location is fantastic, and the happy hour at the bar was a great bonus, making it easy to meet other travelers.
However, there were a few downsides. My room faced an alleyway, so I could hear noise from the Beach Hotel and trucks early in the morning, which made sleeping difficult with noise all the time. Housekeeping was minimal — they only made the bed without changing visibly dirty sheets, and bathroom amenities were not restocked throughout the stay. Additionally, the balcony had cigarette butts left on it, which was disappointing. Despite these issues, the lively atmosphere and great location made it a mostly enjoyable stay
Excellent location, couldn't ask for better! Nice little touches, including a free drink in their rooftop bar, yoga, organised trips. Private rooms with bathrooms were nice.
We did initially need to change room because 3 bed slates were broke in half. We raised this 5mins after checking in at around 5pm but they had no other option but for us to stay there that night - not really acceptable after paying 700 for 3 nights..We were moved the following day in the afternoon. The noise that you can hear from the rooms is crazy, the corridor acts as a microphone. Expect to be up from 6am and depending on other guests, maybe kept up late too. Shared toilets were not very clean
Excellent location and cleanliness. Big open kitchen area is amazing!
Bathrooms were out of toilet paper at times.
Hands down THE BEST hostel ever. Beautiful, clean, super friendly and helpful staff. And did I mention THE LOCATION?!
The staff were great and always helpful. The private room with bathroom was comfortable and clean with air con. We loved the option to get beach towels and being able to leave the car in parking for as long as we needed on checkout day The location was amazing! I appreciated the commitment to quiet hours between 10pm-7am, especially on the weekends. I would definitely stay here again
The price was expensive for staying in a private hostel room, however that could have been due to the Easter holiday weekend. This does not deter me for staying here again!
Central to food and beach. Room was a little small but very liveable. Very clean, towels were changed as often as we wanted (most, but not all days).
Would liker the kitchen to open earlier eg 6am.
location, staff, cleanliness
noise in the midnight
The rooms an shared bathroom facilities were clean and tidy although, having to get in and out of a top bunk bed as a 65 year old, was not always an easy task. The bruising on my shins from the metal bed frame I came into contact with several times a night, will take some time to heal. I recommend not offering top bunk beds to older clients-we don't bounce as well as we used to!

Tahlia and staff always welcoming always helpful Love the location vibe overallvalue for money
Even though bathrooms were messy In no way was it fault of staff and perfectly cleaned in the morning
Writing as a part time wheelchair user. I was in a room with an accessible bathroom. There is another entrance! It is not clear at first but the staff pointed his out to me afterwards. I went here to avoid the cyclone so it was last minute and the staff were so helpful to my needs and made sure I had space for ease of my mobility with what beds they had available at no extra cost (which has happened to me before). Space was clean and comfortable as were bathrooms. The kitchen was huge and had what you needed all very well organized. They have classes and entertainment too. Excellent location in Byron bay near everything - I could roll to the beach and the shop had no problems! Also close to the greyhound bus stop.
The location was great, two blocks aways to the main beach. There are surfboards you can use, which made my stay even better. The kitchen is huge. There is plenty of space for everything.
Even though there was cleaning happening everyday, the kitchen was sometimes a bit messy. It was not that bad in all honesty.
Great location, clean and comfortable
