Pros +
- We absolutely loved our stay at Elements of Byron. The resort is stunning, peaceful and feels so luxurious while still being surrounded by nature. The adults-only pool was such a highlight for us, and we also loved how convenient the buggy service was it made getting around the resort so easy and quick. The whole property is beautifully maintained and had such a relaxing vibe. We truly felt like we could switch off and enjoy every moment.
- Nice places, rooms well equipped, beautiful swimming pool.
- There are two pools: one for adults only and one for family. We went to both and actually preferred the one for children - the families with their children were very considerate and the pool was a nicer size. The villa we had was excellent - roomy with excellent beds. Walking on the grounds, to the beach - all peaceful and beautiful. Beautifully designed resort and highly recommend! It's a little pricey, but the town is nearby if you want to have a more relaxed and less expensive meal.
Cons -
- Honestly nothing negative we just didn’t feel like we had enough time! There is so much to do and enjoy at the resort that we definitely wished we had booked a full weekend instead of just one night.

- nothing to complain about

nothing to complain about
the adults only pool area with swim up bar as great
the long wait time for the buggy rides to/from rooms to main building
Passable
Service could have been better, room keeping was missed and staff at the reception weren’t too cooperative
We have stayed at this property every year for 5 years. The standard of the rooms has continued to be excellent, the breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. The swimming pool and its surroundings are well maintained.
The staff. It’s so disappointing to see that the level of service has dramatically decreased over the years, with this years stay being the lowest we have ever received. The staff were not attentive, unavailable and slow.
Adults only pool cabanas, Osprey Spa, and villas were excellent
Breakfast buffet could be more substantial with coffees included in charge at $42 per person. Friendlier staff at pool bar
Facilities, cleanliness, decor was kept up to date and looked after. Nature theme but walking distance to the beach.
Day spa was below average. Highly would not recommend. Great nice therapist but don’t advertise a ‘muscle wellbeing massage’:Combining therapeutic benefits of Wintergreen and May Chang, with firm but soothing massage techniques, your therapist will release built-up tension to rejuvenate and rebalance the body.*We offer a firm massage on request, however, this is not a corrective or remedial service and rebates cannot be provided. When it was clearly a relaxing massage.
Fantastic for kids. The ‘fairy hunt’ was brilliant fun along with the forest walk and pool.
Pool, delicious cocktails, rooms were beautiful
Not enough seats around the pool for the size of the resort
Beautiful property, the surroundings were gorgeous. The bedrooms decorated gorgeous. The most perfect stay whilst exploring Australia on our honeymoon.
Super place for kids and the pool is perfect. Friendly staff and ease of dining. And all in a beautiful setting.
No complaints.
Location and facilities are increíble. The adults only pool is fantastic for a great couple getaway.
The gym is very small, it’s always busy and the few pieces of equipment need to be updated. It also does not provide any wipes or a way to sanitise the equipment.
Location facilities staff cabins peacefulness
Great location looks amazing. Staff so polite and helpful. So comfortable and tranquil
Pool floor was scratchy and a little painful
The location was amazing, and very close to town. The adult pool was great fun, and the staff were friendly and great at their jobs.
The cost of food and drinks were high, especially adding breakfast; we opted to go into town for breakfast as it worked out more cost efficient.
Very private and we loved the adult pool
Not much at all. ( maybe too many frogs on the paths at night lol)
We loved this place! It’s tucked away in a peaceful beachside location, but you’re still only a short drive from the center of Byron Bay when you want to head out. The facilities were excellent and there were great food options for the whole family, the Christmas brunch was fantastic. Our 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and well laid out with really comfortable beds. It was such a nice touch having it serviced throughout the Christmas period, which made everything feel more relaxing. Overall, our 6-night stay exceeded our expectations in every way.
Hotel is in a beautiful location, among the bushland and out of the hustle and bustle of Byron. We stayed in a dune villa for a birthday getaway, perfectly located in a quieter part of the resort near the beach. Loved the adults only pool as an option away from the main lagoon pool, and the spa treatments were sensational.
Room service (pizza) arrived cold unfortunately the one time we ordered in, otherwise no notes.
Pool areas very good, accommodation inside was very comfy and spacious and excellent decor. Golf buggies to cart you to your room was a lovely touch albeit needed as it’s a large area. Direct Access to the beach, albeit the cyclone earlier in the year had left a mess, was also available and each villa has personal parking spot. Adult pool with a bar away from the main pool was also excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and happy.
We stayed over xmas and there was confusion over food. We had been on the wait list for over a month for the lunch buffet but never got confirmation back, even after chasers, whether we had a table or not. On arrival we realised we had no reservation and so 2 days before xmas had to go shopping to get some basic food as there was no alternative restaurant or place to get food in the hotel. Seeing as Byron bay is 5km away, you are quite isolated and dependent on the resort to provide catering. There must have been circa 500 people staying over Xmas but there was nowhere near enough restaurant seating which i find incredible over a xmas period that they didnt offer multiple sittings. Both lunch and dinner were fully booked out months in advance and so we had no options for eating Xmas day. For a place that charges 2k a night for a 2 roomed villa yet breakfast is extra and no other restaurants available to eat at is very disappointing. Finally when we checked out we wanted to hang around for a few hours before our flight but were told that we could not use the pool or other facilities. I found this incredibly petty and have never experienced that in other resorts, let alone 5 star ones . It left a bitter taste and so i wont rush back.
