Tallow Beach Motel

The location was great! Although not in the main Byron Bay town area it was very close Tallow Beach, which is lovely. The rooms were extremely spacious and the facilities were great. The hosts were really very helpful and responsive too! I can't recommend Tallow Beach Motel enough!

Great rooms, beautiful garden and pool, close to the beach

Great location - peaceful, relaxing and across the road from tallow beach (dog friendly).I traveled with two small dogs and this was perfect! This hidden gem is a short drive from Byron and across the road from the dog friendly beach.

It would have been good to have rugs on the floor. There could have been more than just two of crockery and cutlery items.

The staff at the motel were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They kindly allowed us to check in early and even surprised us with a handwritten note and a small gift on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch.The location is unbeatable — just a stone’s throw from the beach and perfect for our fur babies. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return.

The coffee machine was a great touch, and the room had such a cute boho style. It felt really cozy but still spacious, with big comfy beds.

Location was great, right across from the beach and a short walk to the local shops. I was able to get early check in and the room had everything I needed. Check in and out was very easy with the lock box provided. Also was met with a cute little welcome gift which was very lovely, thank you.

The bed and pillows although clean and spacious were too hard for me, I kept waking up with a numb arm. The person before me had adjusted the fridge too cold and half my food froze and went off :(

I love how peaceful and relaxing it is. Has everything I need, beach, coffee and good food all within walking distance. My favorite place to unwind from work for a little and fill up the cup

Location staff and pet friendly

Not much

The room had so much space with verything I needed and so close to the beach and eating places. Evrything is there right at my door step. It was a perfect stop for me.

I wasn't sure where to wash my sandy feet before getting back in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at this dog-friendly beach accommodation! Perfect spot right across from the beach, making morning walks and sunset strolls an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us (my furbaby and i) feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, pet-friendly spot by the ocean. We’ll definitely be returning!

Wish we could stay longer

Located across from a beautiful beach. Had a pool to relax with a drink after some beach time. Is minutes from Byron’s Bay lighthouse. Restaurants and stores a ten minute walk away. Room has a nice sitting room.

Very chilled place. And brilliantly looked after by manager Fran who was super friendly & helpful.

So the location is right across from the dog beach , perfect.Rooms are great.Location is close to a lot of facilities
