Discovery Parks - Byron Bay

It was chosen solely for location to an event we were attanedimg.

I think they need to show new photos on their website and need to update their photos on the Internet. It was below economy standard and the price should have reflected that. It was too expensive for the state of the cabin.

Because I was on my own I appreciated being in an area which was quiet. I absolutely loved the yoga!! Excellent teachers. What a bonus having the yoga, I wasn't aware when booking that it was available. I loved the two pools, one more adults orientated. The food carts were great too.

Nothing could have been better. Everything was great.

Cabin had a nice fit out - nicer than expected. Looked like it was recently updated. The grounds were well maintained, and had impressive facilities (ie splash pool, bouncing arena, games)

Location was great and room had everything i needed.

Arrived late in evening and was Very difficult to determine where i was staying once outside the room as there was one entry door for 2 lodgings but not clearly marked that this was the case.Air Conditioning Filters were thick dust which i pulled out of the Split system and cleaned before turning back on

Clean, very spacious, and an easy check in and check out process. We got a free upgrade which was great and enjoyed all the facilities. Would definitely recommend.

The pool was very over crowded and the water was hot and not refreshing for a hot day at all. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.

Great family site, like the idea of safari tent and glamping style living, the tent was spacious and outdoor BBQ was great. Like that we had our own bathroom.

A little run down, hairs found in bathroom and fridge was freezing food items. Location was ok but far from the town and no buses after 5pm so had to taxi back and forth.

It may need more food vendors trucks as well affordable, renovations on the water park as it has technical issues, this place has so much potential

Great value. Loved the BBQ area and bed was comfortable.

BBQ tray needed to be cleaned and emptied. TV reception was terrible- but we hardly used it.

The whole park was so super organised, we loved the fish and chip van, the Margarita one and the Gelato one so awesome!

I like the hand gel, shampoo and conditioner supplies in the bathroom. We like that there were ebikes for rent which our 2 children tried. It’s like a family village. It can use a little update because it looks old. Nice shower but just be aware that our cabin sleeps 6 but warm water for shower is only good for 3-4 in a day.

The waterpark wasn’t in order for use which was really disappointing because that’s one major factor we considered booking for our children especially our toddler. The net door’s lock was not working. The light in the dining/living room works intermittently. The mirror light in our room was not working.

The location in proximity to Byron Bay, close enough to get to, not so close your affected by the noise and 'busyness' of Byron.

The park on appearance seems nice and well maintained BUT the cabins and quality of house keeping is terrible.The first cabin we went to after checking in had ants all over one of the top bunks, we thought just a couple until we lifted the mattress and found food crumbs and food wrappers underneath and dozens of ants there, the sofa in the same cabin had a food stain/drip on the end of the sofa arm and on one of the cushion covers ?We were then moved /upgraded to a 3 bedroom cabin , the floor inside was already sandy, one of the pillows in the bunk room smelled of urine, the bathroom cabinet was rotten in one corner. Under the mattresses in the bunk room, the bedframes were covered in dust, see photosAll of the TOP bunk beds in the cabins are not made up for your arrival due to it being a safety issue for staff ? but it's fine for the guest to climb up there to make them at their own risk.....The reception staff were awesome and incredibly friendly and helpful just improve on the housekeeping staff and address obvious needed repairs in the cabin.

Fantastic accomodation for anyone wanting to enjoy Byron bay. Great facilities for families, spacious cabins and lovely staff.

Our accommodation was fantastic. Around a 5 minute drive to the main town. The park has tennis court hire, pools, BBQ facilities and more.
