Cheap and convenient

No bowels or even a toaster, facilities were poor and staff were no where to be seen

Unexpected steep flight of stairs , since I am a big lady, I nearly had to climb onto the cistern to access/use the toilet .

Very comfortable stay. Clean, and great service. Didn’t bother me, but upon waking there was a very strong smell of something chemical… similar to acetone.

The location to town, the price of the rooms. I booked this late and didn't really expect much for the price. How wrong I was.

It was clean and quiet. The location was good.

No hot water in the morning so I had to travel smelly and with greasy hair. ?

In one of the older rooms tough ensuite was freshly painted but needed modernising. However this may affect the price so leave it as it is

While I expected the hotel to be older in style, (i used to frequent the place as a younger person before the renovation in about 1995) the upstairs is a nice mix of vintage and new. I had the bathroom to myself the first two nights - water pressure was fantastic and HOT. Shampoo etc was fantastic that it was already in there. Bed was comfy and better than many places I've slept throughout the world! Really enjoyable stay. I come to visit my parents here and this gave us some room :) totally recommend.

Only that i wish I had time to go down for a drink for old times sake..

The location and the check in process was good.

The curtain didn't adequately block out the street lights.

Disappointed about no meals but Victoria hotel across the road had meals Meals were advertised on the web site also breakfast

Rude reception staff. Kept us waiting 45 minutes without apology. Knocked on door an hour early asking why we hadn’t yet checked out. Tiny bedroom. Could hardly get around the bed. Bathroom very ordinary.

Central, easy to get in and out. Off street parking.

Shared bathroom but there was separate men and women facilities. They were clean and had a bath which was helpful with our toddler.

Staff were very welcoming. Facilities were clean and comfortable.

Very happy with O'Sheas as it was exactly as described and very comfortable. Convenient location in town and also easy to access food etc downstairs in the bar, although couldn't hear any noise when we went to bed. Free parking on site was a bonus. The room was a good size for a pub and the shared bathrooms very clean with toiletries provided.

We would've liked a kettle in the room as when travelling each day you are up early to get on the road, and the morning cuppa is a must to get you going! Luckily there is a bakery right beside the pub which opens at 4am which does a great coffee.

Simple pub style rooms, easy check in and friendly staff. Location is very central with most areas of town within walking distance.

Long drive from Melbourne but Oshea’s was great to arrive at. Easy parking, good dinner, and even the fact we had shared bathroom facilities rather than ensuite didn’t matter as they were clean and close to our room. Comfortable bed

Great little room above the pub, clean and convenient for a couple of mates to attend the Gundy 500.

Second time staying here. Everything that you would expect form a budget hotel. Good hot showers with good pressure. Nice towels, sheets and pillows. Air con in both our rooms. Friendly staff. Will be back next year when we are up here again.

Would have been nice to have some shower gel and shampoo in the room but as previously mentioned, everything was in line with what you would expect form that price range.
