Gallery Motel

Very close to town and very quiet location. We call because we were arriving after hours and there directions and handling of the situation were very precise. Hotel employee was very helpful during our stay.

The phone assistant was polite.

No entry instructions. No staff on site. Outdated call instructions on door.

Clean, convenient, comfortable bed, reasonable value.

Check in process is appalling. No one on site, phone number didn’t answer, finally someone rang me after I left messages on three different phone numbers and sent an email. She said I had to do the auto check in but I wasn’t going to put credit card details and upload a photo of my driver licence when I don’t know if it is secure. Another person staying there said the property is run remotely and everyone has trouble checking in - he ended up going elsewhere the previous night because he couldn’t get anyone to answer. Owners accommodation has clearly been unoccupied for ages. Not good enough at all.

The location was perfect for our needs and was surprisingly quiet.Our room was quite large and comfortable.

Nice little place just a few KMs away from city centre. A few little extras in the room to make the stay more comfortable, particularly if arriving late. There was 2 minute noodles, some chocolate bars and cool drinks. The room was spotless, the check in and checkout was seamless, the host was lovely and it was great value for money

It was all quite fine

I felt that 'Susie' was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed out stay, immensely.

It took us a bit to figure out the heat, but that was on us. hahahaNot Susie's fault at all....if we had asked her, I am sure she would have been more than helpful!

The room itself was clean and comfortable

The outside was dirty and needed a good clean. Stairwells needed a good wash down, cobwebs and debris everywhere, the pool wasn't opened.

Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Good communication and location.

Easy to get to and easy to park. Susie was super lovely. My room had a fabulous view of trees, I just loved it! Also loved that there was a microwave in the room and some plates and cutlery, chopping board and knife. They came in handy!

Older style motel but clean. Noisy with traffic during the day but quietened down at night.

Maybe a fresh coat of paint!

Good location, close to the regional art gallery and the rail trail. Town centre only 5 mins drive away.The unit was newly fitted out, clean and comfortable.

Close to the Restaurant we were booked into

The beds were very comfortable, and it was great that it was only a small motel and not heaps of people and rooms. It was very quiet and a good location to get to any where we wanted to go to.

The toilet roll kept falling off the wall when we tried to stand back against the wall to close and open the door. It would have been good to have a dish cloth like a chux that I could have used to clean the dishes each time. I had to just use my hands to wash the dishes.

We received a text message earlier on the day of arrival, telling us where to find the key. As soon as we arrived, our host welcomed us. The tax invoice was already in our room. The generously sized room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The king size bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again
