Location is great allowing access to many things we required. Rooms are big allowing persons with mobility issues to move freely. The place was clean and the staff very helpful.

Bed very comfortable and room very clean

Could of had a different menu at night time, not the same as lunchtime

    Friendly, large clean room

    8KennethPosted on: 1-5-2026

WAS A LITTLE ON THE PRICEY SIDE, BUT VERY CLEAN, LARGE ROOM WITH EVERYTHING i NEEDED AND SUPER CLOSE TO WHAT I WAS DOING SO I GUESS THATS THE TRADEOFF. FOOD WAS AWESOME TOO.

THE ONLY THING I WAS A LITTLE LESS THAN HAPPY ABOUT WAS THE PRICE BUT AS MENTIONED THAT IS THE TRADEOFF FOR ALL THE BENEFITS I MENTIONED.

we were very happy with our room , parking, food available & handy for our party. convenient location.

Lift light not functioning. Maybe that lift could have stopped operating for safety reasons.

Staff were friendly and professional. Convenient location next to Coles and Woolworths. Comfortable bed. Air con was great once it had kicked in. Free continental breakfast delivered to the room on Christmas morning was a nice touch.

Corridor had no air conditioning. You had to turn off air con when you left the room so there was always a wait for the room to cool down. Hair dryer was ineffective - one of those old fashioned low wattage tiny wall dryers. Decor and facilities need an upgrade.

    Awkward.

We were given our room key and ended up walking in on an occupied room which had a guest inside in their bed. It was very awkward and actually quite distressing. As a result I felt on edge all night worrying someone might walk in on us and our kids. We arrived late with two little kids and this was such an awful moment - super horrible for them and for us and not what I'd expect given the steep price tag for one night..

    Very good

Location turned out to be a problem. While only a short distance from the Gabba Cricket Ground, there was no convenient public transport. So we walked (I pushed in my wheelchair) more than a kilometre up and down to get to the nearest suitable bus stop. On 2 occasions the bus turned out to be the wrong one. When we were on our way home we were unable to get a bus so waited more than an hour for a taxi.

Price was reasonable and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Good quality, clean cotton bedding. Comfortable beds.

Stairs difficult to access and very dirty.

    9MichaelPosted on: 11-12-2025

Morningside is just out of the city, but with trains and buses within easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, including the Colmslie Hotel right next door.

    10JanePosted on: 10-30-2025

Rooms, staff, facilities, food, location, all were excellent

The WiFi connected but wasn’t strong enough to actually use anything which was disappointing in a major city

    quick and easy check in

breakfast was not the best ordered a very basic meal, poached eggs on toast with bacon and grilled tomato and asked for soft poached. eggs came out hard, no butter on the toast and bacon very lightly cooked.I do understand that kitchen staff are very hard to find and breakfast chefs can be even harder to find. Maybe a little bit of training may help as it can be hard to deal with multiple orders

    9KristiPosted on: 10-26-2025

We asked to change rooms as we were in an adjoining room that was quite noisy and the staff were very helpful and moved us to a quieter room.

    10TennillePosted on: 10-11-2025

The rooms were modern with a very nice bathroom.

Not a big deal. But just had to be careful going through hotel room door as it is quite heavy and tends to slam shut very loud behind you when exiting the room.
